Since it looks like the port at Grand Turk will be closed for a while, I was just wondering WHEN we might know of the itinerary change for ships that were supposed to call at Grand Turk in the next couple of months.  I know Carnival is busy right now dealing w/ Ike & current cruise issues.  But when things calm down, it would be nice to know when they expect to have the changes confirmed.

I know.  We leave Sunday and Grand Turk is supposed to be one of our stops next week.  Does anyone know if we will be stopping there and if not where will be going?  We'll be on the Triumph out of Miami 9/14.

Grand Turk is scheduled to re-open on October 8th, 2008. 

Until further notice, the Carnival Miracle will call at Tortola instead of Grand Turk for the remainder of the 2008 New York season. For the Carnival Triumph departing on 9/14/08, the ship will visit Nassau on Saturday, 10am-6pm, as the replacement port call for Grand Turk.
