l have seen that you can by drink tickets my husband drinks beer so l was thinking of ordering some to tickets to be placed in our room on the first day as a suprise or is better just to pay for your beer each time.

I was wondering the same thing! It seems that Coors Light is cheaper than what a ticket is worth? $3.75 + tip = $4.31 which the tickets would be worth $5.37, I'd be losing money buying the tickets!

I've been on other cruises and the only time I've heard of a drink ticket was the "soda card".. If you do hear of a drink ticket, let me know since I'm bringing my boyfriend with me on this cruise and he only drinks beer!  Me, I go for the daily cocktails!  lol always looking to add to my cocktail umbrellas collection!  ha ha

Hi debi4527, Ann is talking about the Bar Credits you can buy ahead of time and have waiting in your room when you get there.  These pretty much just work like gift certificates for $5.25 each, except that if you order something that's less than $5.25, you don't get anything back iin return, and of course if you order something over $5.25, you have to pay the difference.  It's a cool thing to have if you're wanting a big drink that costs more, but not worth it at all if you just want a 3 or 4 dollar beer.

Hl 336flower  thanks for  replying to my question on the beer drinks if l would  lose money then its not worth buying them. l will have to find something else to have in the room when we arrive .maybe flowers for me.

Ok we just got back on 9/4/2008 we had a seasick trip but all went well we left out of Tampa. on 8/30/2008. We did buy drink tickets there were really good for us. That way we kept in check how much was going to drinks.  But if you are drinking beer better to skip the tickets you can get beer by the bucket. and at least for us we did not get our drink tickets until we were at dinner the 1st night so be ready to pay for 1 or 2 when you get on the ship.  My favrot drink was the Fun Ship.
