Just last week I booked my Dream Cruise...shhhhh hubby doesn't know it yet!~  We set sail April 17, 2010!~

Anyone else on board?

Hi Sea Chell  - I've read up on all the Monkeyheads before I took my first Carnival cruise in May.  When I asked about these on the Spirit - they didn't have any on that cruise - I ended up with a funnel mug.  So my question is - how can I join the Monkeyheads if I can't get the mug?  I thought they would have them on all the Carnival ships and that would be a fun thing to do...waaahhh

BTW which deck did you book?

I booked TBA inside cabin.  I will be traveling with my husband and 2 kids.  Our next Cruise is in Jan. 09 on the Splendor.  I know it's a ways away, but I will be wearing my Monkeyhead T-Shirt and on the back it saids SeaChell!~  I ware it this past April on Glory and meet lost of folks as I boarded!~  So get you a shirt!~

Well I am not a Monkey Head....not even sure what that is but we are booking this today!!!!

Just trying to decide what room to book....I don't like surprises....I need to know my cabin number.   Just waiting for PVP to get back to me with avail cabins.

Wow, we have a LOT of time to get to know each other.... ha ha Do you have kids?  We have 2 and we love to cruise, in April will be our 4th, our 3rd is coming up in Jan. on the Splendor!

Hi Sea Chell, just curious - how old are your kids?  My son has finally given me the 'ok' to take my grandson Caleb. He will be 1 month shy of being 12 on this cruise. I'm am so happy to be able to share this experience with him.  He just found out he can go scuba diving for beginners on a couple of the excursions  - and he is thrilled beyond imagination.  This old granny will be watching from the boat that takes us out there..lol

As for picking your stateroom, go back to the deck plans and see what is above the stateroom you'd like.  I found this out reading Seauonboard.com and was able to pick 8234 on the Spirit with the Lido deck above me so no noise at all. 

On the Dream I am on the Spa deck  with the Serenity Area above me - not likely any noise there either..lol   Just a suggestion, even though nobody stays in their rooms, there is nothing so annoying as having somebody banging around 'upstairs' while you are trying to sleep.

We have 2 kids right now are 19 and 16 but they will not be on this cruise with us.....yaaaaaa

We ended up picking a cabin on deck 7....I am between 2 passenger cabins so not too worried about noise now.  The ones on deck 6 where a little scary almost everything over a bar or casino so decided to go up 1 deck.

We have been on 1 disney cruise and 3 Carnival cruises so far.  We have booked Pride for April 25th with a group of friends and now have booked this one for April 17, 2010...

Is it time to go yet 

Gruising Granny, my son is 10 now and will be almost 12 by the time we go.  He turns 12 April 27, 2010!~  So perfect AGE!~  Bring him on!~  We shall meet at Camp!~ ha ha  

Oh how cool  - my grandson turns 12 on June 30, 2010... his name is Caleb and the apple of my eye.   See you at CO 2...or whatever its called for their age group.

My son's name is Brad and he turns 12 right after we get off the ship April 27th.  He LOVES the CO and spends most of this time there.  I have to go visit just to see him from time to time while we are on vacation. ha ha

Very excited about this cruise.  Can't wait to get back to Honduras!!!

Honduras, we haven't been there yet!  What is there to do?  It's along ways off, but I know it will be here b/f we know it!~  My Jan. 09 cruise that I booked in Feb. is almost here!` 

Hi Sea Chell - I've been searching all the message boards about the Honduras and it looks amazing - I have decided to pick one place we are going to just lay on the beach and I'm thinking this is the one - or Belize as I understand Belize is the only port we have to be tendered to.. Deciding which country to just lay on the beach - such a hard decision. lol...

I'm trying to keep as busy as I can so that April 2009 comes along and we can then say 'in April we will be sailing on our Dream'...rofl

The building of our ship has been amazing - now that its floated out maybe we'll get even more pics and dialogue from John. They seem to be updating the website about every 2 months.
