Rob, I hope you have a good time even if you go on your own... I have done 2 cruises alone and I have met some of the most nicest people.  Not to say that I didnt want someone to go with, but it just worked out that way.

Im single and im going with my daughter and my sis and her family. I dont want to always hang around my sis and her hubby and the kids arent gonna want to hang around me all the time But im definatley not the type to go talk to some man. Im the shyest person when im in front of you. Oh well i hope to meet some interesting people and just laugh and enjoy that beautiful weather in Feb.

I have never been on a single's cruise, but all the cruises I have been on has been with my parents. I being going with them again and one of their friends in September. I guess counting this cruise coming up I will be single again. Of all my cruises I have been single, I will try to walk around and find people my own  age to hangout with. It is hard somtimes to find out out who is single, but the only way to do that is start talking. I will be 30 for my cruise in September and I will be trying to find people to hangout. I try to look for singles to hangout with because married couples need their alone time to themselves. I used to be shy, but now I just walk around and try to start a conversation with people that looks like it will be fun to hangout with. Well cruise on Sept. which is too far away. Hope everybody is well today.

Seeing as how you're good looking and single, I'm sure the 30ish/40ish single guys will find you. Just hang around looking pretty. Don't forget the fun activities like trivia, Win, Lose, and Draw, and Scattergories. The fun folks do the fun stuff.

Ok Smitty who paid you to say that? LOl your sweet but the only men that will come near me is to ask me where the rest room is. Sad but true lol. Its ok i heard they have Bingo. Whoo Hoo. I havent played that in forever so it would be nice. I just want to relax and feel that sun. Im on my strict diet right now so that by the cruise i can feel comforatable wearing shorts. After my breakup i gained sooo much. Not good   Its comming off though. To bad your not going on my cruise. Id have someone to laugh with, Take care

I've always traveled with single friends and we've managed to meet people with no problems.  It's seemed easy to strike up conversations and then introduce people to my friends, but now...

...this is the first time I'll be on my own on a ship.  I guess the only thing I'm really wondering about is dinner.  I really enjoy dressing up, dining with companions, conversing about our days and enjoying the meal, a little wine, etc.    For the first time I'm beginning to feel a little funny about this whole solo cruising thing.  I'm not sure why dinner has me kind of edgy. 

I've already decided to go to the Singles' Mixer.  It can't hurt. 

As far as dancing goes, I LOVE to dance and I learned a long time ago that when the seas are a little rough, you never notice if you're on the dance floor.

I have no expectations of meeting Prince Charming on the ship, but I've made many friends over years of traveling and I look forward to new friendships.

chassie,  I just finished reading your entries about Tekel.  My how that juice must have worked on Tekel.  It seems as tho maybe You, me(Rob), Maurice, don't remember her name-but she's the 'grandma' name-remember, she just turned 58, just as I will do May 25.  Hmmm, me um thinks Tekel need big time go on cruise with us.  Me also thinks Tekel, with our crazy-not that we really are crazy-Hey Tekel-we talk like this between ourselves and have not even met each other.  Know how we do this....its cause we can pretty much tell that we would get along as tho we knew each other for a long time.  Know what I mean TekelBean?  See, we are just plain good people who like to have a good time....that doesn't have to mean getting totally crazy, but might even be us getting a little loud, acting goofy, lots of laughing....see where I am going with this. 

chassie, silly me, I just realized that while I started writing this entry to you, I, hopefully, started to direct this at Tekel.  We just want her to feel comfortable both with herself and around others.  Hey, u think we might be able to get her to do that....even if only a little bit?  Hope so.........as u know...we gotta laugh, both at things and ourselves and sure laugh and make fun of myself, especially when I am around others I feel comfortable with...at this point U are included in MY comfort zone.

Well i feel comforatable with you guys. I can see you are alot of fun to Rob. Smitty your right about what you said. I never really found anyone that thought i was just so beautiful. They always thought the grass was greener and then came back when they found out its not. Oh well i tell them where to go   I cant wait till this cruise if the people on there are anything like you all i will have so much fun. 

Hugs Tekel! I hope you missed that slight disagreement that I had with that guy from Oklahoma earlier. I didn't want to be rude, but he deserved it.
