    Re: Traveling Solo

I have cruised solo before (female though).  Carnival did a great job of seating me with other singles near my age and we hit it off great. I have even stayed in contct with and vacationed with one of the girls I met.   It was a short cruise, but it was nice that I had some companionship when I wanted it, knew who I was eating dinner with and often joined them at other times during the day and also nice to be by myself at times.  I booked one of my excursions though Carnival for safety/security and one day I just took a cab to the beach.  Cruising is great for solo vacations whatever the reason and no one to argue with over the remote/when to eat/what to do, etc.  Smile
