On average, how long does it take to get parked and checked in on the Holiday?

It all depends on when you get there and how long the line is.  The earlier the better!

The vehicle line to drop your luggage is the biggest problem in the check in process, we waited in line about 25 minutes and then we dropped our luggage and payed to park. The check in process took about 45 minutes, and we went onto the ship for lunch. This was pertty good as we have cruise several times and Port Canaveral was the fastest...about 45 minutes for all of it. Just can't tell about the way things go at any of the ports as they all have their differences. But, getting there a little early is a good thing...most of the ships allow you to board around 11 or 11:30.

We will not be able to leave for Mobile until 7 a.m. because one of our friends doesn't get off work until 6 a.m. Anyways it takes 6 hours to get there which will put us around 1 pm. Will we have time?

If you can't get there early,don't worry.The plus of getting there early is you don't have to buy lunch on the road. Just kind of hang out and let the crowd die down and you won't feel crowded when you check in at the terminal.

You will have plenty of time to check in.  It is also right off the interstate so that helps with the time just watch the tunnel.

You should have time.  The port is quite organized and traffic flows well.  We sailed from Mobile in 2006 and will again in October 2008.  In 2006 check in was really easy and quick.  We took another cruise line in 2007 to Alaska and check in and out was tedious!
