    Re: Nachi-Cocom beach

Before our visit to Nachi this past March, I read 100's of posts trying to figure out where to go. I read one negative post from a woman that didn't have a chair for her kid. How can you not enjoy this beach? There are no bouncy things in the water, so if you have younger kids then maybe one of the other beaches are better suited. Like the above poster said, must be advertising for another beach. Gonna be there August 17th I'll let you know how wonderful it is.

We'll be there 9/11.  I'm looking forward to that day more than anything else we have planned for our cruise!

    Re: Nachi-Cocom beach

We went last March during spring break and it's the raeson we booked another cruise in Aug. One suggestion though. Eat breakfast before you go. Because of the 1 hour difference from the ship and Coz you will be eating a little later than your stomach is used to. They start serving at noon their time and our stomachs knew it was really 1:00. They start serving drinks as soon as they open so you don't want to be drinkling for 2 hours on an empty tummy. I did, but I 'm a seasoned veteran.

The food is fabulous, we all just ordered something different and shared everything. There is a menu on their website. Just google Nachi Cocom.

Oh, and the Parasail is worth every penny. It was 90 bucks for two of us, but I have read where people get it a little cheaper, so wait til you get there to sign up. I got a massage as well, and was sore for two days after, she found some knots on my shoulders and went to work on them, not the best ever, but it was my fault for not telling her to chill out.

High praise indeed. Great advise. Looking forward to this excursion. Do remember if they had wave runners?

Follow the above link to see more pix and info about the beach club, go HERE to book an excursion through Island Marketing www.cozumelcruiseexcursions.com - choose the Nachi Cocum Beach Break.  You'll pay a $12 deposit per adult and the rest in cash upon arrival.  Cab ride for up to 4 people is $15 each way plus tip (just give them a $20 each way) and don't forget to tip your waiter and the masseuse if you get a massage (Ingrid REALLY knows her stuff!).

    Re: Nachi-Cocom beach

There will be a guy walking the beach that has all the info. on what to do. Yes, there are waverunners, but they are down the beach a little way. Snorkle trip etc etc. I really want to go snorkle but that would take 3 hrs from my Nachi and eating and drinking. So I'll just snorkle off the beach. Have fun all!!

    Re: Nachi-Cocom beach

For anyone that has been to Nachi Cocom & did the parasailing, did you get to go tandem (2 people at once)  or did each person have to go up one by one?

No, you can go tandem. It's $90.00 for both. Bring a camera, I did, and got some really great pics.

Redy2go,could you please tell me how the snorkling is off the beach? We did a snorkle excursion last year and fell in love with it. I am also like you and don't want to take up 3 hrs.I'm sure it's not the same as being out in open water but is it enough to give me "a fix."Thanks....

I also did the beach snorkeling while we were there and I wasn't very impressed - really didn't see much.  The beach is sandy and the fish usually tend to go where the reefs are (lots of hidey holes there) so you'd probably need to be taken out there to really see much (about 200 yards out if I remember correctly - too far for ME to swim!).

    Re: Nachi-Cocom beach

I was just there June 20-25 and yes two people can parasail at once. My daughter and her friend did it together. They got the owner to take pics of them in the air. They turned out AWESOME!
