    Vacation Protection Plan

Is it worth it? Has anyone ever skipped out on it and regret it?

    Re: Vacation Protection Plan

I have always had the insurance on my last cruise in march 2 people had to be taken to hospital due to illness and also from a bad fall so do yourself a favor and get the insurance never know when illness or accidents will occur and these were in the areas where we docked not in the states 1 in jamica and the other in cozumel .

Did you take out the Carnival offered insurance or insurance on your own?  How did you like the coverage?  I read it somewhere on this message board that the offered insurace doesn't cover you once you are on board.  Is this true?
