    Big Screen tv

Hey we're sailing on the Vicoty 5-24-09 but I was wondering if the Victory had the big screen tv on Lido deck or not. I've seen pics of it without the tv and then again I've seen some on Carnival's website that had them. Has anyone been on Victory before?

    Re: Big Screen tv

This will be our 5th cruise, and the second one out of San Juan. We've been to a couple of the stops before but we just loved them and wanted to go back. With six stops this will be a packed cruise! We've got a cruise during Thanksgiving to go on, so that should tie us over until May. Happy Cruising!!

    Hi Mark

First time to the South, any suggestions on things to do, places to see.

Wish I had another planned, but I have vaca in Louisana to see friends, that take care of my vaca money and time.

Can't wait, maybe we will meet on board.

    Happy Cruising

    Re: Big Screen tv

Joan, in St. Thomas we done Kayak, hike and snorkel excursion. It was fun and offered a lot of sight seeing oppurtunities, but the Kayaking was long and can get tiring. In Dominica we went river tubing and had a blast doing that. In Barbados we went on the Green Monkey tour, this one was one of our favorites becaue you got to see so much of the country side and our tour guide was great. That's the only stops we've been on that are being offered on this trip. We also went to Aruba on that cruise and loved it more than any. What excursions are yall looking at?

We haven't really looked yet, but with my husbands COPD Kayaking is out, he doesn't have the health for that.  I am interested in the river tubing, hubby could do that if there isn't a long walk to get to the river.  Do it at my daughters camp, but I'm sure it's not as good as in the Dominica.  Love to see the different ports, and go to the beaches.  On the eastern we did the sight seeing and beach tour.  Naturally I like to shop (jewelry that is) but will do that in St. Thomas.  We're going with 18 other people, so I'm sure whatever we do we'll have a few with us.  Everyone does their own thing then meets back for drinks.  Cruise is paid as of next week, so we'll get to the excursions and see whats up.  It's going to be hard with so many ports.  The eastern only had 3 ports and we just had the hardest time picking what we wanted to do.  I missed out a few years ago swimming with the dolphins, so if that is offered I might go for that, but the last time we checked the pricing had skyrocketed, not sure I want to spend $250. and up for the excursion.  But with all this time left, I still pre pay it a little at a time once we decide and that way it won't feel so bad lol.

    Happy cruising

    Joan
