Wow, I'm glad to hear from you!  I was going to post this exact same question this week.

We will be sailing wtih our 12 year old son on the 17th.  I was afraid he'd be the only kid on board.  I don't think they can be in the Camp Carnival together, but Dillon (my son) says he doesn't want to hang out in there anyway.

We are traveling with our 10 year old daughter and we are also traveling with another couple and their 8 year old daughter. We have cruised three times with our daughter and she always loves the kids programs, especially at night while the grown ups are having our own fun.

We have cruised several times, and Sept of last year we took both our children ages 8 & 5, -- My 8 year has been cruising before but not my 5 year, both loved camp carnival, there were both in there together- but divided into different age groups. Camp Carnival is a lot of fun for the kids, there are so much for them to do. They have Xbox, WII, Playstation, and lots of games and crafts. You have to sign them in, and in return you are given a pager to keep during the duration of the cruise. In sept. there were more kids then I had thought. It was nice, the camp was not over crowed as it gets in the summer, which in return allows more time with the counsler/staff- (more one on one). they have special parties, and you can choose to have your children eat with camp carnival staff at night while you are in the main dinning room. If you have a shore activities you as adults want to do- you can leave the kids at camp carnival. You son my be scared at first, but at his age they have a teen disco- dancing and lots of fun stuff... I think he would be surprised!! have fun!Big Smile
