Anyone else going to the Bahamas on 08/17/2008?

I hope your having a great time, let me know how the weather was for you, hope you were not affected by the tropical storm, our last night the boat was rocking my husband wasn't feeling well at all, i didn't mind but when I got home last night and still today I've been having sea legs UGHH!!!!

Just looking for feedback on how your trip was.  With the storm Fay in Florida, I was wondering if you had choppy seas on the way back or had to stay at sea an extra day. An extended cruise, how sad.

Overall I had a good time. It was cloudy and rained off an on. We did have sunshine leaving from Port Canaveral and for our afternoon in Nassau. The seas were rough coming back to FL. We had to dock in Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale b/c Fay had closed Port Canveral. Things were a little hairy for those who had to reschedule flights, but Carnival did a pretty good job in my opinion considering circumstances. Crew was nice, service and food were very good. A couple of small issues, but I would definitely cruise with Carnival again. I took the less drowsy formula of Dramamine and did fine with that
