I'm recommending a spot that I think is the best location for a sail away get together.  It's the Panorama Deck, (one deck above Lido) port side (left side) near the stage, overlooking the pool mid-ship.  I recommend we meet right after the muster drill.  Here's why:

1) Best view sailing out of Miami.  We'll see million dollar homes, yachts, and condos.  It's definitely a WOW.  Great photo ops.  The aft pool area is enclosed on the sides and the photo ops are not great.  Besides, it wouldn't DARE rain on our sail away party.

2) Good music.  We'll be right next to the calypso band—best spot for some jamming (that's Jamaican talk).

3) It shouldn't be too crowded.  Most people congregate near the bow or aft, or on Lido deck.

4) I'll buy free drinks to the first 10 people who show up.  (Not those drinks with the umbrellas in the pretty pink souvenir glasses.  They're a rip-off.  I'm buying beer, fruit smoothies, soft drinks, or bar drinks in cute clear plastic cups)

So let me know who's in.

We live in Anna which is about 1/2 hour South of Lima right off of I-75.  Lima is usually where we go to eat out.  Not much in our area!

I have been following this for months and glad to see there is someone who knows his way around. This is my wife, Karen and mine second cruise. we were on the RC Enchantment of the seas last year. I you don't mind we would like to meet you and the others on this thread on the 7th. Looking forward to see you all.

HI GEORGE! I'M NOT HERB BUT THOUGHT I'D SAY HEY...LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU ALSO

I have a question for you Herb or anyone else who cruises a lot. (This will be my 3rd.) I read another post where someone said they sometimes do the muster drill duing the sail away. Is there a chance of that happening? I would be so dissapointed.
