    Drink Cards

How much does a drink coaster cost? Where do you purchase them ? Drink cards for the Carnival Pride sailing on Oct 19 to Mexican Riviera are 38.50 plus gratuity. Is it worth it?

My husband is a big coke drinker so the card is fine for him.  It is all you care to drink, the waiters will bring you coke at the pool, or you can order at dinner or just go to any of the bars.  The coke is poured from a can, and you are allowed only one at a time. This includes coke products, diet, Sprite.

You are allowed to bring a 12 pk on board, or bring cans of soda when returning from an excursion, if your prefer this option.

38.50 is a bit pricey for a 7 day cruise, on Princess we only paid 27.00 for a 14 day cruise.  But, after all your on vacation!

Is a drink coaster different than the drink card?

That's a ridiculous price for a 7 day cruise!   I will have my kids drink juice and we will bring a six pack each on board.

Not worth it to me.  First, they only have Coke products which I don't drink.  Free juice, punch, tea, lemonade, coffee so why pay for soda?

I bring onboard what I think I will drink of the brand I like along with bottled water and I'm good to go.

Come on our next cruise with us; I guarantee you'll see my wife doing it.  Personally, I don't find it all that interesting -- old hat by now -- but if you've never seen it happen I guess it could be worth it.  Especially if there's a cruise going on around you.

OK OK OK ....I admit it. I am a diet soda addict. I can drink 8 to 10 a day. But in my defense I do not drink coffee or tea. I like water and adore milk. However...sodasodasoda!   Big Smile
