Has anyone done this excursion in Ensenada?  We booked it and they recommend long pants.  I was wondering how necessary it was?  I'm trying to pack as light as possible, we have 2 boys and am packing dress pants for dinner but wasn't planning to bring jeans. Also if you have gone, how did you like it?

 This is a GREAT excursion, but you definitely need jeans or some other durable long pants.  I wouldn't worry too much about packing light - this is a CRUISE after all!

Thank you so much for that!  I'm excited now just hearing you say that is was GREAT!!  Thanks also for the jeans advice!  I know I shouldn't worry about packing, but you only have so much trunk space, gotta fit the shoes somewhere!!  I'm just glad we live only a few hours from the port and don't have to fly.

The woman who runs the ranch is an american.  Look forward to the torillas and salsa afterwards as they are both very good!  You also get a bit of a tour of Ensenada and surrounding areas.  Look for the Black Pearl ship in the harbor north of town.  They will drop you downtown after the ride if you want and offer suggestions on shopping, etc.  If you want a show, go to Papas and Beer.  Interesting.  They can also take you back to the ship if you want to change before going back to town.  It's only a 10 minute walk.
