Big SmileHi!  I knew we wouldn't be alone.  Another couple that we know has decided to join us too.  They are coming from Chicago. There will probably be more than the six of us though.

Hi Girliegirl!!!  I really don't mind sharing...can't eat and drink it all myself!!  I'm afraid we are rather seasoned!  Two couples so far that i know will be joining us.  We all range in age fron mid-fifty's to mid-sixty's.. i had to promise that I wouldn't make them hang around with me all the time!  We are all money wasting monkey heads ( which means we can drink  and gamble with the best of them).  Hope to see you on the ship!

    Re: ROLL CALL Liberty Jan.17,09

Hey Girliegirl!  I have had them all!! Inside, outside and balcony.  Inside is fine, cheapest of the lot and serves its purpose.  The only thing is it stays dark!!! You must bring an alarm clock because there  is no window to let you know when morning is beconing!! The Balcony is great too, but you must bring a bungie cord to hold your door open to get those ocean breezes! Didn't spend alot of time out there, but it was wonderful for watching the dolphins!  I like the ocean view rooms.  Not too pricey and you at least get light, but no fresh air.  For the amount of time spent in the room, I feel it's the best bet.  None of the rooms have clocks, so be sure to bring one or a watch that you can read at night (The Ocean is dark, no street lights,so you won't be able to see the watch until morning in an ocean view or balcony room).  on the website seauonboard, one of the links tell you which rooms to avoid on each ship in each class.  Liberty is the Conquest Class.

Hey Girliegirl...Buffett is whatever you have on, bathingsuit coverup(especially if you are me) shorts, whatever.  Dinning room is dressier, not cutoffs, tank tops etc.  For women a nice blouse or tshit and capris would be good enough.  Formal night is just that.  Glittsy top and black pants to evening gown- what ever you like.  Those flip-flops that you would wear to the beach are frowned apon in the diningroom. Flip -flops with Jewels or heels are fine though.  I'm in upperdeck room 6436( I think)  hoping there is enough time for me to get upgraded to a window so I don't sleep the day away!!! The dinning room for breakfast or lunch is very casual-you can wear shots & regular t shits and tanks.Wink

hey judi thats great i like to dress up just not all the time...does it cost less to upgrade rather than book that room to begin with?  have you been to these ports before..if so which is the best for shopping.....were hoping to seadoo at one and possibly do the dolphins ,parasail,,,and dunns falls.....its hard to plan though as most say you cant take a child under 8...i can see why for some but not others..and i cant understand the camp carnival for port days.....ttys

    Re: ROLL CALL Liberty Jan.17,09

We have been to all these Ports.  Cayman is my favorite.  We even got married there one year on a Carnival Cruise!  Great Snorkeling-the 8 year old might enjoy that and feeding and petting the stingrays. Lots of Fun.  Then there's Hell and the Turtle Farm too.Cayman has great shopping too. Check out phil-lafayette-tours.com for Jamaica.  Cheaper than the boat and very reputable.Cozumel has great shopping too.  Haven't used Camp Carnival in years and don't remember if they occupy the kids or not.  Have always taken our kids with us off ship except when we went on the Big Red Boat. I just booked a guarenteed room  very early and hoped they would upgrade me for past guest status etc, but so far I'm still in an inside cabin with no form of day light.  I guess I have to pack the alarm clock and night light!!
