Hey, is anybody going on the Inspiration 11/17?

Yes, we are leaving on the Inspiration November 17th.  We will

be traveling from Ohio and are really looking forward to the trip.

Will be celebrating my husbands birthday!

My sisters and my niece live in Tampa. I live on Long Island and will be flying in. The three of us sisters and my niece are going together for my niece's 18th birthday. It's her first cruise and the three of us have already been on a cruise before. In fact, one of my sisters and I have already been on this particular cruise. It's fantastic and we're looking forward to a great time!

hot2sail, it seems we're the only ones going on Inspiration 11/17 so far!

We are really looking forward to the cruise.  Our flights have already changed since we booked, but that's okay we are now on a non-stop flight.    Are you planning on taking any shore tours?

We're not doing any excursions. My one sister and niece do not have much money so we're going to do things that are less costly.

I think we'll be going to take a taxi to Paradise Beach in Cozumel. There's no entrance fee, and we can hang on the beach there. We'll probably head over to 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman also.

Since you are from Tampa, do you have any suggestions for the most thrifty way to get to and from the airport/pier?  We usually use Carnival transfers, but due to our return flight, we will not have time to wait.  Thanks for any info you can provide!!!

I really don't know. My sister lives in Clearwater (close to Tampa) and she usually picks us up when we fly in from Long Island. If you have little time, you might have to pay for a private car or taxi to the airport. A taxi is not necessarily thrifty but certainly will get you there quickly.

Perhaps you can post your question in the general forum and see what people suggest.

Also, the boards on cruisecritic.com are very informative too. You might find some good transportation ideas there.
