I am not on your cruise but I was on Miracle in 05 and I loved the layout of the ship, it is my favorite class of ship, I am on Legend on 8-31 and I chose it because it is the same class, my favorite part is the two main pools are separated by the bar and sliding door which gives it the feeling of a larger ship. The aft pool is supposed to be for adults only but it is not always, unless you tell the security guard, as long as the kids were acting good we didn't have a problem. You will love it

We haven't been on the Miracle before but our family will be on this cruise with you.  I am so looking forward to it, we have been on many cruises with Carnival before, but this is our first to the Southern Caribbean.  We couldn't wait until December so we booked on the Ecstasy to hold us over until we could board this one.  See you in December,

My husband and I are booked on this cruise too...it will be our 4th cruise with Carnival. The friends we travelled with last year are also going to book this cruise. We have been on the Glory and the Liberty already. We are booked on the Pride leaving Sept 28th from Long Beach to the Mexican Riviera for our 30th anniversary. These 2 ships are slightly smaller than the 2 we have been on but our cabin is on deck 8 in the center of the ship so hopefully it will be the same as our last 2 cruises. Maybe we can meet up at some point.

That sounds good to me. Maybe everyone from this board can meet at the same time. That would be great! I am sure we will pick up a few more cruisers before we leave.

You do go back a long way, I have not heard of the Tropicale before. We only took our first cruise in 07 and that was basically my fault cuz I was not really sure of cruising. My grandparents cruised all the time but we would never go with them and then my husband got a flyer from the International police association and they had a western carribean cruise for members and we decided to try it (with friends who were also unsure) and LOVED it! This is the best vacation ever and I am sorry I never tried it before. That is why we have 2 booked this year!

The more the merrier to help celebrate my milestone.  I also found out my girlfriend will be joining me and my son for the cruise.

My son and I sailed the Miracle last year from New York, 8 days Eastern Caribbean and had a blast on the ship.  That's one reason we decided to go on the Miracle again.

Deb, This is Tammy. My husband Todd and I just booked our "Miracle" cruise for 12/7/08 and are looking forward to a great time.  We are bringing our 19 and 14 year old daughters to give them a chance to see what fun cruising can be.  We cruised in February with our best friends on the Imagination and had the time of our lives. . . can't wait to make many more wonderful memories. . . hope to meet many new cruisers . . . we are from Vermont and are avid snowmobilers so this will be quite the climate adjustment for us Northerners.

There are quite a few of us that are meeting on board at the Orpheus Bar (I think right after the muster drill if I read the posts right) Look above and sign up at the link Bill has and we all are there!

We are not taking any kids with, they are all grown but the friends we travelled with last year are also booking this week. Next year we are taking our oldest daughter (28) with us because her hubby will be in Iraq for his second tour.

We have lots of birthdays to celebrate too!
