I realize that the bus ride is rather long, but it is the only way to be able to see the site, so I am o.k. with that.  I have been told that the Uxmal tour is actually better and a little bit shorter in distance.

Please give me your input on these tours.

I haven't done either of these but AutoProgreso offers both of these tours - you can find a copy of their flyer on my website at - http://www.seauonboard.com/AP%20Tours.pdf.  You can find their site at www.autoprogreso.com.  Both tours are 5 1/2 hours long.  So since Uxmal is closer it would appear that you would get more time there.

Chichen Itza really is a site to behold.  I think it is the biggest and best kept of the mayan ruins.  I'm glad to have seen it!
