    Yes- Baltimore, MD

I am soooo glad to see that Carnival will be using Baltimore, MD as a port in 9-2009, I am ready to book, I noticed the itinerary is not set, may I suggest adding Key West for consideration along with Half Moon Cay(this is a beautiful port) and the Bahamas. sorry I was not impressed with Grand Turk.

Personally, I would LOVE to see Carnival cruise from Boston, but will be happy with Baltimore...

Checked airfare to Baltimore from New Hampshire, and trust me, I will be cruising from that port when it happens!  Cheaper than flying to Miami, and less travel time!  Woo-hoo!  Thank  you Carnival.

    Re: Yes- Baltimore, MD

I am very glad to see you will be BACK in Baltimore, my husband and  I took our first cruise (5/16/04 on The Miracle) out of Baltimore.  We live in NJ and it was only a 2 hour drive to the port.  We will be taking our next cruise 3/14/09  on the Liberty for my 50th BD, we are having such a hard time trying to find a flight from NJ to Miami the prices as of right now are out of reach.  We have two other couples going with us but because of the high flight prices they said they may have to cancel and if that happens my husband and I will just have to drive, they won't drive that far

I hope we have half as much fun as we did on our first cruise, if we do we will probably book our next cruise for March of 2010  leaving out of Baltimore before we leave the ship.

I live in Landover, MD and am happy to see that Carnival will be leaving from the Port of Baltimore.  I just hope they will go to some of the other islands i.e. Bermuda, St. Marteen, St. Lucia,  etc .

THRILLED to have the Baltimore option now! It is a much shorter drive for us; only 2 hours versus the 13 it takes to get to Port Canaveral! And I LOVE the Pride!

I hope that it opens the door for more cruises options out on Norfolk, VA since we just built the new Half Moon cruise terminal.

    Suzy,

I, too, am glad that Carnival will be back in Baltimore. Living in South Jersey will be very easy for me too.

But, did you know that you could fly out of Atlantic City International on Spirit Air to Fort Lauderdale, instead of Miami and save a bundle? That is what we are doing for our family get-together in August and the fare was only $220 per person round trip. The shuttle is only a few dollars more, but it is worth it.  Think about it!Smile

    Re: Yes- Baltimore, MD

    Frank,

Thanks for the info......TRUST me I have been on every airline site looking for flights.  I especially like leaving from  AC, much easier than Phila. not to mention cheaper to park etc.  Most airlines are not accepting reservations so far in advance (March 14 - 21, 2009) including Spirit.  Just today I was searching the web and at 1:00pm Spirit was booking for 3/09 total for 2 people over $1,200.00 roundtrip and now at 9:00pm Spirit site says it is only booking up to 2/09, go figure.  American Airlines $870.00 per couple and US Airways one day it's says $1,100.00 per couple and the next day it's over $2,000.00 per couple.  I know I have plenty of time (269 days to be exact) but I just want to get the best price and book as soon as I can.  I refuse to pay more than $600.00 per couple, would like to pay what you're paying but doubt that will happen.  Hey, if all else fails my husband and I will drive the 1200 miles.

I am also excited that Carnival is leaving out of Baltimore as I live here in Baltimore County. But I am not at all impressed by the itenerary (sp?). I'm not interested in soo many  sea day. I'll be happy to see a new itenerary. Til then I'll be departing from Miami.
