Suzy,
I, too, am glad that Carnival will be back in Baltimore. Living in South Jersey will be very easy for me too.
But, did you know that you could fly out of Atlantic City International on Spirit Air to Fort Lauderdale, instead of Miami and save a bundle? That is what we are doing for our family get-together in August and the fare was only $220 per person round trip. The shuttle is only a few dollars more, but it is worth it. Think about it!
suzy:I am very glad to see you will be BACK in Baltimore, my husband and I took our first cruise (5/16/04 on The Miracle) out of Baltimore. We live in NJ and it was only a 2 hour drive to the port. We will be taking our next cruise 3/14/09 on the Liberty for my 50th BD, we are having such a hard time trying to find a flight from NJ to Miami the prices as of right now are out of reach. We have two other couples going with us but because of the high flight prices they said they may have to cancel and if that happens my husband and I will just have to drive, they won't drive that far
I hope we have half as much fun as we did on our first cruise, if we do we will probably book our next cruise for March of 2010 leaving out of Baltimore before we leave the ship.
