Our ship does not sail until 30 Sept and our Personal Vacation Planner Laura Hall has been outstanding. She returns our calls, she is very cheerfull and helpful. This is our first cruise and she has really done an outstanding job with informing us. I'm sure she keeps people coming back as this cruise was booked with her because the party who used her on their last cruise recommended her. You have a good one there. Thank you Laura !!!  She also informed us of Veterans benifits, which helped out.

Joe, I'm sorry, but my PVP is way better than yours. Lety Orta (1866-455-8196 ext. 86522) is quite obviously the best PVP Carnival has. Just last week I sent her an EMail about my next cruise next year (I even put in the subject line "no hurry"). She responded with all my answers in less than an hour! When I talked to her by phone, she is a lot of fun just to talk to. I like fun people! Thank you Lety!

Let me add my PVP into the mix. I've been associated with her since 2002!  Now, THAT should let you know my level of confidence in her, Krystal Kaminski.  She gets us the best itinerary and the best cabins at the best bargains. She's also given us cruising tips that make our vacation better. A few days after I return from my cruise, Krystal calls me to follow up. She asks my honest opinion of Carnival's service, the ship and the ports of call.

Krystal returns my calls and emails quickly. Whenever, I call, she remembers me. She calls me when Carnival has promotions that she thinks I'll be interested in.  I have a friend who's a Carnival cruise afficianado. She actually changed her PVP's and called Krystal and was very pleased. She said she'd be requesting her from now on and recommending her to others.

We had a great PVP, Katty Cortes, but lost her when she was promoted... Those that followed have been good, but not great. About 2 weeks ago, we were connected with PVP Lynn (will look up her last name) and she was excellent.

We always book directly with Carnival and everyone is very helpful. It is good to get a relationship with a PVP, but their hours are more limited than just calling the 800# shown on line.

Exception... We used a travel agent 2 years ago on the recommendation of a friend (it had been about 20 years since we last used a travel agent) - it wasn't worth it. The travel agent pushed us to Princess (talked us out of Carnival) and we had a horrible cruise on the Sapphire Princess, then they were unwilling to contact Princess about it. So... we continue to book directly with the cruise line. And we continue to cruise Carnival.

I'm sure there are excellent travel agents out there and if you have one you really like, then have them book the cruise for you. If you do not have a TA, absolutely go through Carnival - they are great to deal with directly!!!

Wow...you do have a good PVP also :) maybe Laura taught her...LOL...Just kidding...I'm glad I started this, I am kinda new to this forum and cruises but I am sure to get something out of all the feedback others have with their Travel Agents or PVP's. Maybe we can get the good ones rewarded and the bad ones to get better, and enlighten all us first timers on  who to book their next trip with.Many thanx for your reply.....hope more join in with the good ones and bad ones

Okay, y'all, our PVP is William Hooke and he is absolutely great!  He helped us plan our cruise in Dec 07 and even made suggestions about a balcony aft cabin which we thoroughly enjoyed.  We did not know at the time that these were extended balconies, larger than the regular ones.  It was one of the best trips we have ever had.  He also guided us in when and how to see the maitre' d about changing our table to a table for two.  He was right on and we had not problems.  William, you are the greatest!

They all sound wonderful but my PVP, John Tate is the best at Carnival.  Booked my first cruise in March 08 to Mexico and booked my June 08 trip to Alaska for my family.  I would'nt want anyone else helping me. He has helped me with everything  and every question for months. The first trip was the best and I can't wait for my next in March 08. THANKS JOHN , you are the BEST!

Now that I took a very early retirement we will be going on cruises more often so I am making a list of all the good and not so good PVP's and travel agents just incase the good ones get promoted, out for an extended period of time, or leave for position for any reason so I will allways get a good one and help the other new cruisers coming here with this info. So if you have anything to post, either good or bad...post it

Hiya, Living in the Port Richmond section near I 95 & Allegheny, waiting to see if the Casino's go up before we sell...Grew up ( actually never grew up ) at K & A way back and lived in NC for 25 yrs. Decided to come back after my son went into the service and wanted my daughter to grow up around more family.Overbrook Farms is a nice section..We're almost neighbors

We use Glen Noval....now that is one really nice guy and an excellent Carnival PVP.  None of my questions are silly to him and he also surprises me now and then.  He is fun to talk to and he always keeps us informed and up to date either via email or telephone even if we don't have a question.  He is also good at reminding us of things!!  It's nice to have a PVP that does that.  I recommend him to others.  Glen U ROCK!! 

You guys are all wrong.  Aida Herrmann is simply the best and we have been with her since 2001.  She is the most pleasant, knowledgeable pvp and goes out of her way to get us great deals.  We had a very bad experience with a TA and have been with Aida ever since.
