Re: Blowhole and winery tour in Ensenada?

We took the just the blowhole tour in April without the winery tour.  When I first looked online it was not available but when we got on the ship it was.

It was basically a 45 minute bus ride each way.  The tour director on the bus gave some history of Ensenada along the way and gave us some shopping tips for the flea market once we got there.  After that we only had about 45 minutes to view the blowhole and shop.  Alot of the stuff they have at the flea market you can buy at the port for the same price or less.  If you are really into flea market shopping you won't really have enough time.  It doesn't take long to view the blow hole and take a few pictures.

I have some pictures if you want to see you can e-mail me at Hntrtr@aol.com

If I had the option to do it again, I would probably pass.

Although I have not done the winery tour I have done the blowhole tour many times.  I have also been going to Ensenada for many years and go to La Bufadora each time.  I absolutely love it.  You take a bus ride for about 45 minutes.  The tour guide is usually very funny and very informative.  When you get there they park and you get out and walk the stretch of shops (just one dirt road) to the blowhole - not very far at all.  Go see the blowhole and then on your way back you can shop and eat.  There is tons of good food - they cook churros and tacos right on the road and they are fabulous.  Lots of shopping, anything you can think of.  Tons of people trying to sell you stuff and get you into their storefront.  I love it.  It is a lot of fun.  I am going on a cruise next month and am going to La Bufadora again!  Have a great time!
