I am sorry to hear about your experience, but I agree you had the wrong attitude going into the cruise. Maybe you needed a vacation before your vacation? I'm a soldier serving a 15 month tour in Iraq. I work easily 80 hours a week, no days off, always on call. But like everything else, you learn to make the best of any situation. It would make for a long deployment if I complained about everything wrong here. Even with all the hours I work here in Iraq we still find many ways to relax and have a good time. And when I get back in December, I'm going on a cruise and I'm going to have the time of my life. I'm doing extensive research first to try and avoid anything that may go wrong, but like anything you can't expect everything to go as planned. Don't give up hope and try having a more positive attitude. I wouldn't blame Carnival for this one, a vacation is what you make it. Hopefully you have better luck next time.
