 finally found other people who are going on April 19th. I'm also on the Empress deck, and will be celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary on the 21st, which is a sea day. Only 355 more days, according to the Carnival web-site...I can't wait! Where are you from?

Wow !!..43rd Anniversary. And I thought 30 was long :-) Where are you from? I'm from New Jersey.You guys planning on going to California earlier than the 19th? We want to go to San Diego either before or after the cruise, haven't decided which we want to do first (or last) The day before the cruise, I made reservations at The Best Western Convention Center in Long Beach, I always like getting there a day earlier.

Have you been on other cruises? We have been on the Carnival Triumph, Pride, RCCL Mariner of the Seas and The Golden Princess. The Splendor looks like she's going to be a beautiful ship. This years vacation, is 23 more days to....Walt Disney World! Just me and my wife. Some kids never grow up :-)

We live in a town call Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento California.  We were on the Carnival Eleation a few years back.  Just finished a cruise out of San Diego on the Carnival Spirit this past November. We were on two cruises, one out of Tampa in February and the other last month out of Los Angeles.  They were on RCCL.(hiding behind a tree as other carnival cruisers are reading) lol.  We are going on the Carnival Valor November 23rd 2008 out of Miami to the Western Carribean with the kids and grand-childrem. Fun, fun fun. 

  I have made reservations for April 18th on the Queen Mary.  Plan to park the car in the Carnival parking lot, walk over to the Queen Mary and spend the night.  They are both located next to each other on the same property.  .A easy hop skip and jump.

 Hope other Splendor cruisers join in on the conversation......

The Queen Mary?? I was told it is haunted..No way am I staying with ghosts :-)

I made my reservations early for the Best Western because that week-end is usually the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach and I thought everything would be either sold out or overpriced. Turns out, this was the last year that they had it.

We are booked as well. We will be traveling with my Folks (First time Cruisers)and our grandson will be coming along (he will be 4 when we sail). We ourselves have cruised Carnival twice before. First time was a 4 day Bahama on Fantsay and the a 7 day Jamica, Conzamel and Grand Caymans aboard the Conquest. This cruise is 2 fold it will be my 47th birthday on the 20th of april and an early Wedding anniverisey (50 years) for my folks.

Welcome LeAnn5.  Well, between your folks , ron and his wife and us, we have about 135 years between all of us.  Tell them to go on the new old wed game.  It is fun...
