    Mexican Riviera Cruise

Do you see land for the whole cruise? Looks like from the little map that you don't cruise for off the coast. Thanks for any info............

You do NOT see land all the way down to the Mexican Riviera. We went last October on the Pride and the only time I could see the land was when we got close to Cabo. There it was visible off in the far distance when going down. There is plenty of beautiful blue ocean to see every where. The sun rises were just gorgeous. I spent so much time watching the sea I actually was thrilled to see a very large school of dolphins. Your cruise will be great....

The cruise ships are usually 10 to 50 miles offshore, dpending on where they are in their route and sea conditions. The amount of pollution in the air (natural and man-made) determines if you may be able to see land. it's definitely not like you'll be close enough to shore to see anything identifiable.

You talkin' to me? Note that part of my sharing of my cruise history includes the destination. I went on a rerouted-because-of-the-flu-scare cruise to the lovely CANADIAN RIVIERA!  I was bummed that we didn't get to stop in Seattle; our stop for the PNW was Astoria Oregon instead. Blech.

I've only been to Cabo San Lucas out of the three ports you will experience. From what I've seen none of the ports have a lot of interesting things to do for the younger folk. There is snorkeling in Cabo, that's not too bad, otherwise it seems it's mostly beach outings.

The Las Caletas beach excursion in Puerto Vallarta was fun when we did it... our son and his friend had a good time.  Kids can swim, snorkel, kayak and explore the area.
