    Favorite Cruise Director

Who is your favorite Cruise Director....I've had Big Tex (Celebration 2005), Danny (Fascination 2006) & Karl with a K (Liberty 2007).  Out of the 3 ships I've been on I enjoyed Big Tex the most.....how about you - who is your favorite Cruise Director?

2005 - Carnival Celebration (Key West and Nassau, Bahamas)
2006 - Carnival Fascination (Key West and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico)
2007 - Carnival Liberty (Key West, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, Jamaica)
2009 - Carnival Elation (Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico)

We had Steve Knisley on the Destiny in July 07 and thought he was hilarious.  I hope he comes back to the Destiny.

So, far, I've gotta go with Malcom (Imagination, Christmas '06). He's a giant (really about 6'6") riot. He'd be one of Carnival's Kings of Comedy, if they had such a position.

Close second, would be Brent (Miracle, Thanksgiving '07). He's pretty cool and thinks fast on his feet.

    Re: Favorite Cruise Director

Since you just went on the Pride last month, do you mind answering a question? Carnival usually has a party on the Lido deck as we sail away on one of the nights and it typically has a theme. Do you remember if there was a theme and what night? One of the cruise we went on had Country and Western theme, one had a Mardi Gras theme, and one had a tropical theme. Everyone dressed up for the party (we had to buy things because we were not prepared) so this time I am trying to to find out before we sail.

We have had Big Tex (Fantasy - 2/07) and Butch Begovich (Fantasy - 2/08) and honestly I do not know that I could pick a favorite.  They were both amazing, helpful, friendly and HILARIOUS!!!

Hello, We are cruising on the Pride in September, please can you tell us what the two theme nights were when you were aboard the Pride? We'd like to plan in advance. Thanks.

We just returned from the Fantasy and thought Big Tex was great.  He was funny and very helpful, always keeping you informed via his "tex" messages.  We were on the Celebration in 01 and I forget who our CD was, but he was funny as well, just not as good as Big Tex.

The CD on the Celebration in 2001 was Larry.  I think he was from Colorado.  We also had him on the Elation a few years later.  Our favorite was Mark Price.

Just got home a few days ago from Glory 9/20/08. (We had a great time)

BUTCH BEGOVICH>>>Awesome Cruise Director.  Always smiling, great personality, FUN, FUN, FUN. Couldn't get enough... must have watched his dance lessons on the cabin TV a dozen times. I only hope we can cruise with him again one day.

The CD for our first cruise obviously didn't make much of an impression on me since I can't remember a thing about him.
