    Herb-

This will be our third cruise.

First was the Dolphin Seabreeze which is now underwater somewhere.

Second was the Carnival Tropical in 1993.

    Now the Triumph in 2008.

     Can't wait.

Yea Steve I saw the Seabreeze years ago in Nassau.  I never sailed on theTropical, although I did sail on the Carnivale which was the second of Carnival's ship back in the 70s, together with the Mardi Gras. We sailed on the Triumph in 2004 and again last December.

This will be our 15th cruise and our first as Platnium members with Carnival.  Really looking forward to all the VIP perks.

We, my husband and I, will also be cruising this date.  We can't wait.  This is our second cruise.  We were on the Carnival Pride to the Mexican Riviera last year and had a GREAT time.  We'll be celebrating our third anniversary on this trip.

What shore excursions do you recommend in Cozumel for a family, 3 daughters, ages 12, 7, and 5. Hubby and I have been to Cozumel already, but we went on the party boat and shopped.

We also sailed on the older ships (giving away my age here), we enjoyed the smaller ships, I guess we like nostalgia, it also seemed like you knew everyone. The last ship my husband sailed on was the Fantasy and he said "never again, its too big, bigger isn't always better". I've talked him into going on the Triumph Sept 7, hope he has a good time.

    Hi guys!

It's "blessed's" husband. I was interested in where everyone (or at least some of you) are from? We'll be coming from California. I am assuming most will be from the east coast?

This will be our second cruise, also with Carnival, the first was on the Pride,Mexican Riviera. We just wanted to try a different one. We are really looking forward to this cruise. If anyone has any tips on this ship, they will be welcomed.

                                                                                                          Cheers!

Judy and I are coming from in Denver.  Are you guys flying in the day before?  If so, and you need any ideas on where to stay, let me know. (recommend staying downtown as opposed to the airport.)

Re: Carnival Triumph September 7th 2008

I'm sure you'll enjoy the Triumph, its the same size as the Valor (the Fantasy is 70.000 ton the Triumph is 101,000) but doesn't have a supperclub.  One thing that's really important is to study the deckplans really carefully.  The Triumph is unique in that all decks don't go aft to bow.  If you're not careful you'll find yourself walking along a deck, then you'll have to go up or down and then back to your original deck.  It can get a little frustrating until you figure it out.
