Paradise Island All Inclusive Day Pass Is it worth it?

Paradise Island All Inclusive Day Pass  Is it worth it? Not sure of the location to Atlantis. Is it worth the money? I found a site where it is $50 for adults $30 for kids.

    Anyone done this?

We did the all day excursion from Sensation a couple of months ago. We,ve been to Atlantis before and really wanted to spend the day there, again. Make sure your pass is the one that includes usage of the pools and the slides. Our pass included lunch at one of the counter service restaurants. The resort is massive, the grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, the marine exhibits are fabulous and the waterslides/activities are a blast. There's something for all ages. I recommend taking a cab from the ship to Atlantis, that way you can go on your own schedule, the boat does a tour and takes a long time.

Wrong resort. I wish we were spending the day at Atlantis it sounds like a blast bit spendy! I was just wondering how far of a walk of was to Atlantis from Paradise island resort. Ive read its a 15 min walk. The reviews Ive read were so-so but that was fron people who stayed in the rooms. Im going in it with an open mind and going to have fun no matter what. After all, Im going to be in the Bahamas, and what could be better than that!

Hi. We are on the Fascination cruise to the Bahamas on the 20th-23rd. I was wondering if had taken the Paradise Island day pass? If so, is it worth it?

This is the site to book the all inclusive one day pass. My boyfriend and I (both in our 30s) booked the all inclusive day pass on June 21 for $100.00 (50.00 ea).

We had a good time but I probably won't book this excursion again because we didn't have enough time. However, I will describe our experience and it may be for you.

We caught a taxi from the boat for $4.00 ea to the hotel at about 11:00a. Checked in to receive our all inclusive wrist band and towels and headed to the dining room. The food was decent. You had the option of selecting from a few items on the buffet line (curry chicken wings, pasta, and chopped beef) and veggies.

After lunch(1:30p), we found two chairs near the pool (great pool by the way...enough space for everyone). Relaxed, got in the pool, and had a few watered down drinks until about 4p.

We decided to head back to the boat to relax and change for dinner at 6pm. There is a taxi line located outside the resort that took us back to the boat for $5 ea. We walked around town for about 30 minutes and headed back to the boat.

As you can see, we paid 50.00ea for lunch and a couple drinks each. So, we probably will try the Atlantis water park next time out. The desk clerk and staff were all very friendly and got us in and out very quickly.

Would you be willing to share what site you found the tickets on? Did you go? We will be in the Bahamas in August. The price I found was $105 per person. We have been before. It is fun, but not worth $105 per person.

I have reserved passes for the all-inclusive (it's the Harbour Resort btw), and it includes all food, drinks (alcohol and non), and use of all the facilities and amenities except rooms and spa services. There is also a private snorkeling lagoon and beach, and a large pool. It's $50/person on their website, and can only be made and booked in advance with a credit card.

The Harbour Resort is seperate from Atlantis, and no, there is no waterpark there. I believe you can purchase passes to Atlantis there, but I have heard that if you want to do Atlantis that you should get a hotel room at one of the other, smaller hotels on Paradise Island and you get 4 day passes to Atlantis with the room that are supposed to include everything that Atlantis offers.

Sandals All-Inclusive does the same with limited spa services for $105/person, and Breezes All-Inclusive is the same as Harbour Resort for $60/person.
Don't know about Sandals, but at Breezes you can go there the day you arrive and purchase a day pass. Breezes and Sandals are on Nassau, not Paradise Island.

Hope this helps! I did lots of research on this :)

Re: Paradise Island All Inclusive Day Pass Is it worth it?

Before we cruised Carnival in March, we bought the Atlantis all day excursion on the Carnival website, 75.00 per person, included free lunch at one of the outdoor concessions (burgers, salads, etc) We took the taxi to Atlantis and for the return to the ship, that way you can go on your own schedule. We stayed at Atlantis a few years ago so we were eager to see the additions. The grounds and the marine exhibits are incredible. The water slides and the river floats are a lot of fun, you could spend a lot of time enjoying the rides. The beach is beautiful and the pools are very nice. Yes, the drinks are expensive but so is everything else on the island. We've been to Nassau several times, once you've seen the horrible straw market area and you walk around the district, once is enough. So, for us, Atlantis was a fun, relaxing day away from the ship. You do not have to book a room anywhere to enjoy all of the Atlantis day pass amenities.

Hey, FYI, all. I talked to a girl on one of the other cruise chat sites, and I asked her about the all-inclusives because she lives in Nassau. She said that Sandals is lovely, just couples/adults only and tends to be gay-phobic, Breezes is more for the 20-something crowd, and Harbour Resort is a dump and dirty with icky food and watered down drinks. She said that if you really want the all inclusive to relax, do Sandals, and if you want the all inclusive to party, do Breezes.
(I cancelled my reservations... if someone who lives right near there says it's a dump, I'm inclined to believe her!)

Think we're going to do the day passes to the Hilton through bahamascruiseexcursions.com

Make sure everyone understands that the Paradise Island "Excursion" is NOT Atlantis. I thin this place received some bad reviews on the Cruise Critics "Bahamas Destination" threads.
