beach near port Freeport/Cozmel

Does anyone know if there is a beach within walking distance of these 2 ports. If not any suggestions for a beach not far from the port? Thanks

Hi Kjeanne,

I don't know about Freeport, but in Cozumel there are no beaches where you port. I believe you have to go to the other side of the island to get to the nice beaches. Enjoy your cruise!

No beach at the pier in Freeport, either. Gotta take a cap, bus or excursion from this port.

No beaches nearby in Freeport (an industrial area) or Cozumel. In Freeport maybe a taxi to Port Lucaya where there's a hotel with day passes. Any number of beaches & beach excursions in Cozumel.
