I am looking for ideas to do in Progreso. If you have taken any excursions there I would love to hear the reviews. Looking for something fun to do with our 15 & 17 yr old sons, leaving out this Sat.

From the carnival sight- thinking of Dune Buggy  Exploration  & Beach or Mayan Jeep Adventure & Break but open to any ideas you might have.

We've decided we're going to the Dune Buggy Exporation and Beach excursion in Progreso.  We're going in May so I'll sure fill you in on our experience when we get back!! 

And I think another part of our group is doing something different so I'll post about all the excursions our group does!!!

We did the Corona Beach party. The beach in Progresso isnt as nice as the others but I had so much fun there. I never ran out of a drink bc they were there with another one. I fell in love with guacamole here also!! Thats all I eat now that Im back LOL

They had games for kids and adults. We also did the banana boat ride while there. It was $5 and it was worth it!!

Well, we ended up not doing the dune buggy excursion.  They changed the age limits so we couldn't go.  But the other folks in our group did the 4 hour ruin tour (sorry..I forgot the name) and said it was gorgeous.  The only downfall was that it was a mile hike in between the 2 ruins you saw!!!  Some other people we met did the Corona Beach and they had a good time!!

We ended up taking the double decker bus tour and then wandering around down by the beach.  Since we had a little one, we headed back to the boat really early!
