My wife and I are booked too.  We're 40-somethings from Western Canada.  We'll be the ones who never seem to need jackets on those cool evenings!!

It'll definitely be hard to miss Aussies on the boat!

There will be 4 of us on this cruise....we love cruising but this will be the first time on the Triumph for us.  You can tell us by our accents also:  Georgia & Tennesee....lol!  We are early 50's.  This site is neat...never seen it before.  We are staying on the Lido deck 9th floor balcony.

    DrinksHello Darlene,

We will be on the upper deck level 6 room balcony room 6338. My husband and I have become totally addicted to this site. We are on it every day. We have picked up so many tips. I just wish we lived closer we could cruise every year. We are in our mid 40's.

    bye for now

Yes I can see where this site can be very addicting...I've checked it several times already today.  Where are you guys from?  We are from Georgia & our traveling companions are from Tennesee.  I'm sure I'll be talking to you some more as we still have lots of time before our trip...I find that the looking forward to a cruise is a lot of the fun...I'm learning lots of tips also...we've been on this cruise before but on the Carnival Paradise.

We are from Australia. We will be flying in on the 29th to LA and a connecting flight to miami that evening. Staying at the Regency Hyatt on peir 66 have no idea what it is like our Travel agent booked it. Just know it was'nt cheap. Don't even know how far it is from the cruise terminal. We will be travelling alone. our children are grown so if they wish to come they can pay their own way. Had no takers when we gave them that option. They are just planning three weeks of their own entertainment while we are away. We won't we leaving the ship after the cruise as we are doing the eastern side as well then up to Orlando for a week checking out Disney World. Kennedy space centre and lots of shopping. Can't wait.

WOW you guys will be far from home...I'm just a state up from Florida...and what a nice vacation you will be having.  Will you keep the same room & all for the 2 wks?  You'll love Disney...we took the grandkids this summer...also went to Sea World...You will love the space center also.  We live maybe 4 hrs from Orlando.  We have 2 grown, married children..boy & girl...Our daughter has 3 kids...boy 10, girl 3 & girl 16 mo....love those grandkids.

I'm trying to learn how to put a ticker on here....it gives me several options but so far none have worked....

    IT WORKED!

Yes we will be in the same cabin both weeks. We have three children Brendan 26 unmarried, Kirby 24 she is married with two girls Lilly 5 and Chloe 3 next month and Christopher 21 in a relationship and still living at home. Grandchildren are so much more fun. We seem to have more patience. They live nearby so we see them all the time. They are upset that they won't be coming with us. But the thought of presents soothed them pretty quickly. You worked out your ticker. Took me ages. We have never been to the states before so it will be an experience to remember. We are already talking about the next cruise. It's only a 13.5 hour flight from Sydney to LA. Not to bad. Although I think we will be dragging ourselves around the next day.

Yes grandchildren are such fun....Our grandson is Payton, Anna is the 3 yr old & Lydia is our baby...I keep the girls as their mother is a teacher...Anna goes to preschool 5 days a wk & Lydia goes 3 days....they go from 9-1...so I have to take them & pick them up & keep them until mom gets home.  They will have to find a substitute while I am cruising...My grandson is already begging to come with us...he has been on a cruise before so he knows what he's missing.....my daughter tells me that they are saving their money to take us on a cruise next summer...she says it's in payment for keeping the girls....that's one I'll have to see to believe....lol.

Australia is a country we would like to visit some day...I just LOVE hearing you guys talk.  I'll have to pay more attention to the Australians Olympic teams...lol!

    Hi,

Well you aussie's will have a neighbor! I'm traveling with a girl from New Zealand, one from England and another from NYC, and me I'm from Michigan.  All four of us will be on the Triumph on Nov. 30th.  We are all single, but didn't want to join the big singles group!  We will just stalk from afar!!! LOL  This will be my 9th cruise!!!   The four of us met on a previous cruise and thanks to the Web have kept in close contact and this will be our third cruise together!!!

I think with every-one I have spoken to we are going to have a blast.I work with a couple of people who have cruised the caribbean and travelled the states. They highly recommend it. Everyone will be glad it's over so they don't have to listen to me give the count down every day.
