Who's coming?  This will be my second cruise i'm travelling with a group of 20 friends and co workers. I enjoyed myself on my first cruise 9/15/07 on the imagination. The second day on board I woke up and couldn't stand up. I still got around and made the best of my trip. I'm looking to meet some new people and partying. Look forward to seeing you soon.

I'm going on 4/13/08, but it would be great to go when your going, because that's my husband's birthday and mine is only two days later.

Wife and I are trying to decide to book this cruise or not. Kind of worried about planning it and then a hurricane cancels it. Will be first cruise for us so hate to get all worked up and something happens.

Did you get the email that they are doing the itinerary in reverse order?  It doesn't matter to mewhat order we go in but if you have shore excursions booked with an outside vendor that may be a problem.  I'm really getting excited now!  My cousin has already packed and we have challenged each other to make everything fit in our smallest suitcases as we always over pack.  See you all soon!

Hey Becci!  Yeah, I got the email from my TA.  I haven't booked my excursions yet so it really doesn't matter to me.  I'm just glad they didn't change ports of call.

My husband and I are booked on this cruise and we also got the e-mail about the change.  What I would like to know is what happens with the excursions we booked through carnival?  We had booked our excursions for both ports and when I go and check they are still listed for the original dates. 

 This will be our first cruise and we really don't want to miss out on our excursions.

I didn't get an email about the change of ports. So I actually found out when you guys posted it on here. Then I checked and sure enough it did change. I am guessing they only sent that email to persons who booked excursions already. I was going to book my excursions today but I guess since the change just happened, they are working out he kinks, because the usual "book it" for the excursion you wnat is not there anymore. For any of the excursions. I think they are trying to work out the kinks and get everything changed over for all those who already booked their excursions. I would call Carnival on Monday for all of you who booked your excurisons already to make sure everything has been converted over to its new day and time. Good Luck! See you all there. Party on!

I didn't book any excursions and I got the email.  I'm sure if your excursion is booked through Carnival it will just carry over to the new date.  If you booked through someone else (like a website advertising local tours) you might have a problem though the port officials in each port will know about the changes so the local vendors will too.  They depend on the tourism the cruise ships bring in so I'm sure they will adapt to the new dates also.  40 days (if I count Miami the night before) and counting!!!

Less than a month to go... anyone else getting excited?

I got my cruise documents in the mail the other day!!  They have a less official looking envelope than in the past and the luggage tags are now stick-ons instead of the elastic string things.   Still very exciting!!!!!!!
