hi...we are taking a family vacation, so far 4 cabins and maybe a few more.  Has anyone cruised before on this ship during thanksgiving?  anyone going on it?

Is this your first cruise?  Ive been on 4 other carnival and 1 other one before, plus some day cruises. 

Hi! I have been on one other cruise carnival glory a couple years ago but not with the kids. I am hoping they enjoy it!.Have you every been on the triumph? I was really debating going back on the glory but wanted to see San Juan.

i was on the Jubilee and the Imagination and Fascination and the Esctasy.  Do you have kids travelling with you?  I have my 2 boy, ages 7 and 5.  I cant wait to go!

I have four  they will be 11, 14, 16. 22..two boys and two girls.

wow you have our hands fun with 2 teenagers ad a young adult and a child.  I remember being those ages (sorta),  and my time will get there, so i wont blink!

have you chosen your cabin and such?  we are on verandah and my parents are on main.

where do you live?  1/2 of my group is flying in from NY  the other 1/2 live in Florida

we are flying from ohio. we are aft one balcony and one inside on the upper deck. It took us two hours on the phone with our TA to get two rooms across from each other.which carnival said we had to have. So this is what we ended up with. I am just glad to be on the ship..Do you know what hotels are good to stay in the night before the cruse in miami or near? i still haven't got airfare yet waiting to see if any good deals come out soon.

wow!  2 hours.  Ive been dealing with a great carnival vacation planner who helped me out tremendously!

unfortunately i do not know of a hotel in the area.  can your travel agent help you?

We don't know which airport we are flying into yet but what ever one we are renting a car  to go to port. I was thinking of just using priceline. we have had good results with them when we have flow into orlando.

the car rental places are not on the property.  I think we are going to hop in a yellow cab from the airport and go to the pier.  There are 6 (or more) of us flying in that morning, and to take carnivals buses will cost us $300 round trip...thats ALOT of money

I got my airfare today!!! six of us for 1.500 not to bad. Now if the cruise was would hurry up!

Just wanted to say we went on the Glory last March and that was the best ship and this year we chose a different ship which was a big mistake VICTORY  and it was going to San Jaun but we did not dock until monday night at 5pm till midnight so we did not get to see too much of it , but just don't ever go  on the victory it was the worse cruise and i have had others that have just recently wrote me on this site and said the same thing so just don't ever choose that ship...bad news if u do , but my daughter and son in law are on the triumph as we speak and love it ,they went on it last year and chose it again this year so you should have a good one if they love it ..

  just wanted to ask you did you book your airfare through carnival? i didnt know cause if u did the bus fare is already on there and waiting at the airport as you arrive......
