Hi All...

Considering a trans-Atlantic on the Freedom or Splendor this coming October or November.

Do you know what type of weather we can expect…I looked at the stats and I know it will be cool, but can we expect to get some sunbathing days on the TA portion of the voyage or will be be confined to the closed  decks?

My wife and I are booked on the Freedom November 6 2008 for the TA crossing. I have never done a TA before. As for the weather, we leave the Canary Islands which is, what 90 miles from Africa. It is warm there. I think maybe 2 or 3 days at the most of cool days. We are going to the carribean where it is god zilla hot. Hope you have a nice TA crossing.

Hey Gerry, I am booked on the TA Nov. 6, and I heard the weather from Rome is about what we have now ( from Montreal, live in Toronto). I have checked the weather and as we cruise to Spain it starts to get warmer. We are crossing the Atlantic so I would imagine it will have a few cooler days to begin with. The cruise itself will more than make up for any lousy weather.

HI Sharron....sorry had a problem to start this message, anyway..just got off the TA on the Splendor and had great weather. Only a couple nights where it was a little rocky for a short time. We left from Rome on Oct 29th and arrived into Ft Lauderdale on November 14th. Temperatures were perfect..great cruising weather. Most of the time it was colder inside the ship then it was outside so bring a light jacket. If you need more info, let me know. Happy cruising.........
