My Mother and Aunt are joining my husband and myself cruising to the Med on the Freedom October 13, 2008.... who else is joining us?

G,Day  from Australia  we will be there , we were on the 3rd Cruise in March 2007 Enjoyed it so much can't wait to return.

We have 4 others travelling with us, can't come quick enough for us..

My husband and I along with my mom will be joining you on the cruise.  We are on deck 6, can't remember which rooms right now.  This is our first cruise and my mom's second.  First for Europe for all of us.  

I am already starting to prepare.  We have to apply for our passports first!   We will be flying to Rome from Alaska.  I think it will be a very long trip, but so worth it.  

I wonder how warm it is on the deck in Oct.? 

My husband and I are going on this cruise also.  We are celebrating our 40th birthdays.  I'm am SOOO excited.  I just found this forum tonight and can't tear myself away from the computer.

October 13th is forming it's own little party ....

 We will have to all meet up for Cocktail  Of the Day  !!!   we are with 4 other's who haven't been to Europe before .. so it is all exciting ..

My sooon to be husband and I will also be going on this cruise, we have not booked it yet, but we are well on our way to doing so... This will be our HONEYMOON... :)  I've been all over everywhere and my fiance has not left the US before so it will be fun...

I loved going with my family on cruises growing up and I had so much fun on the carnival cruises!!! :)

When we were there in mid Oct 2006, the weather was exceptional...70s in the day, but it did get cool 50s in the evening.  You can set up on deck at night and watch the big screen movie...Carnival provides nice warm blankets to snuggle into.  Carry a large thermal cup from home and you don't have to get up very often to refill your hot chocolate or coffee.

Congratulations lizziemk!  That will be a terrific (romantic) trip for a honeymoon.

Thanks I am sooo excited, because for a bit we didn't think we would be able to afford a european cruise but this cruise has a good price and we have decided to just do it... :)  So i can not wait to go to europe once again... :)  I looked up the weather in OCt and it said exactly what you said.  I have only been there in Summer (soooo hot) and thanksgiving (Freezing) sooo needless to say i'm excited for some pretty weather... :) 

Hi , My wife and I will be joining you all on October the 13th - we are also from Australia (Perth) - we have just returned from a cruise in Oct 07 (Celebrity Galaxy) Greece, Turkey etc. and the weather was cool on deck however a light jacket fixed that .Turkey was wet however not cold. Greece was sunny and reasonable, Rome was wet but not cold. If that helps.

   That cruise sounded sooo good and my fiance and i had wanted to go on that one so we could hit up greece, but i think we are going to save it for another year... :)  I spent several months in Australia in Brisbane... I absolutely LOVED it there...  It is nice to take european cruises because you are able to meet more people from all over the place... :)  i'm sure we'll see yall on board...

Where are you from in the states ? -we spent a fair bit of time there over the last 10 -12 years and loved it . We are looking forward to catching up with everyone , we would enjoy telling you about the previous cruise - think you would love it . Happy that you enjoyed your time in Oz  ,tell all your friends about it - we love having visitors !!

Well i'm originally from CT about an hour outside NYC  and now i'm out in Kansas City, MO for a degree...  But yeah, we are really excited about this cruise it's going to be our honeymoon :)  and there will be a day when i take my fiance to "oz" hehehe... cause i loved it there sooo much, especially Frasier Island... soooo coooool there, all those DINGOS running around

Look forward to seeing you onboard. We spent a lot of time in the States around Atlanta and Baltimore ,Evelyn lived there for 12 months while I flew back and forward to be with our Daughter & Evelyn every two -three months. We loved it there & loved the people we met - Sears ,Penny's &  Macy's got a bit of a hammering too around Xmas time :-) . we are in a 8A balcony at the moment however haven't been assigned cabin numbers as yet.

Sure we will meet up at some time - look for the couple with armfuls of shopping running a number of trips back and forward to the ship .
