Celebration sold?????

Has anyone heard anything about the Celebration being sold. I have a cruise booked for Aug. 2008.

Haven't heard a word about that dj. I imagine that would have hit our Jacksonville newsmedia by now if that was true. It's the only ship that sails out of Jax so that would make big news around here.

Personally I hope that the Celebration is not sold by Carnival. We had our first cruise on this ship back in 2001 when it was ported in Galveston, Texas. Maybe Jacksonville could get a bigger ship from Carnival then they could home port this ship in Corpus Christi, Texas. Since we live in South Texas then we could cruise on it again. It is a good ship.

Hi jlynn:

Debbie and I are trying to make a decision on that now. We have a cruise scheduled for March 29th - April 5th(Glory) and the Celebration's last cruise is April 15th (I think) so I believe that would be pushing it a little. But like I said, we are considering it for sure. How about you?

We will definitely be cruising on the Fascination sometime in the Fall of 2008. I spoke with my T/A today and she said that the last cruise of the Celebration is almost full now so we need to make a decision pretty quick. I will let you know. Do we have your e-mail address? If not, I will post our decision on this board.

The CELEBRATION is a sweeeeet ole ship..........

I guess not...it is too close to school being out. I'm a special education teacher and that is our busiest time. I would be like a tax guy taking a vacation in Feburary. I think you should go and tell us about it. Do you think they will do a lot of extra celebrating?...no pun intended.

Did you understand what was going to happen to the Celebration? Did it sell?

HELLO JLYNN,,

The Turkey is very goooooood on the ship.......HA ! ! ! !

Now the dressing is not like how Mom made it.................

Being on a ship at Christmas is different............

I think it's neat to say I was on a BIG Cruise Ship for CHRISTMaS......

I am a single solo cruiser,,,,,,,So I enjoy cruising at CHRISTMAS.........

It's my gift to me from me.................

This year the Capt's night will be CHRISTMAS night.......

We found out the last Celebration cruise out of Jax is on April 10th (a 4-day) so that pretty much takes us out of sailing with her that month. We may try to sail her maybe in Jan, Feb, or so if they are not sold out. We shall see.

We just know it sold. We cannot find anything anywhere with any other particular's.
