    White water rafting in Limon, Costa Rica

        I am cruising the May 12th cruise on the Liberty. Has anyone taken the white water rafting excursion in Costa Rica? The pictures on the Carnival website make it look like this could be a very intense experience. Is the river so rough that the rafts tip over? Also, looking for feedback on the Panama and Costa Maya excursions. We're not really interested in a whole day excursion. Has anyone taken the excursion to the Embera Indian Tribe?

    My son and I went white water rafting on cruise in Feb. Was a lot of fun. Felt safe. When we saw our pictures looked more intense than really was at the time.

    I'm curious to know about the scheduling.  I'll be on the Freedom this December and we arrive at 10am and depart at 6pm.  Seems like timing to drive to the river, enjoy the rapids, eat and drive back would be tight.  Jack (or others), how was it?
