I was really looking forward to getting in some quiet reading time on the "Serenity" deck, guess I will get that time in on our balcony. The kids playing golf I don't mind. They are kids, but nothing irks me more that inconsiderate people babbling nonstop in quiet areas.

Re: Serenity Adult Only Area

The sucky thing is, on the Splendor (since this is posted in the Splendor sub-forum) the Serenity area is on the deck right below the mini-golf course (both sides of the ship). So, topless would definitely be out unless you sat in one of the chairs below the overhang, which would defeat the tanning idea. About the location, I just don't know how well you can experience a sense of serenity wheHEY!! THAT'S MY BALL! MOMMMMM!!!

The one afternoon I was up there, I was more put off by three people on Serenity sitting on the lounges talking non-stop about the most banal things at elevated volumes so as to drown out the music than by the golfers.

~ MattInSoCal

Re: Serenity Adult Only Area

LLBABY>you will LOVE the serenity area. it is DEFINTELY FOR ADULTS! no kids allowed. it has two lovely hot tubs and all the chaise lounges everywhere. you would love it. that is where i hung out at on my cruise on the Inspiration back in May. and that is where i will be on my next cruise on the Sensation for new years. By adult does this mean topless tanning is allowed??? Or is this just a a quiet and serene place for adults to relax, as advertised? My friend and I were hoping to get some good tanning time in, away from all of the families and children ;). Thanks! And I can't wait---- July 5th!!!!!
