Another awesome activity for children would be the turtle release program, not sure if you can arrange this on your own, since the release dates for the general public are on Sundays.

Regarding the snorleking, you can go thruogh a local dive shop or make your own arrangements at la Roqueta Island, you take a cab or bus to Caleta beach then you take a glass bottom ride to the island and rent snorkel equipment. Acapulco is not well known for snorkeling, but La Roqueta is the best place to do it.

Acapulco Information

Hello. I would like to get information swimming with the dolphins and snorkeling. What is the best mode of transportation to get to this events?

I completely understand a guide with a great sense of humor would make a perfect stay in Acapulco. email: marketing@apiacapulco.com, Issi is the only person I know how has a lift and great drivers. He will make you a quote and itinerary. Many of the stops do not have wheel chair access and he can arrange a tour only to places with adequate ramps.

The cliff divers has a observation platform at street level, a few malls and all resorts have ramps, the Chapel of the Peace in Las Brisas may not be able to receive him (ask the tour operator), a few look out points can be enjoyed from the van, the fort of San Diego Museum does not have ramps to the exhibitions, but, a big ramp to the roof where you have great views, La Isla shopping village is great place to shop, Maya Palace and Princess hotel are great resorts in Acapulco, a few older hotesl have very limited acess, suchn as Flamingos (one of the oldest hotels in Acapulco), Casablanca, (Great view) elevator only goes to one florr before the roof (roof has amazing view), home of dolores olmedo for Diego Rivera murals can be admired from the van.

And please let me know if you need any further information.

Yes there are many great drviers with vans that can easily accomodate your husband, a question, is he wheel chair confined or does he have limited mobility. So I can recommend a driver/van.
