When we got off, we had to walk the gaunlet with everyone trying to get us to take their cab. It was the place right there as you came out of the galleria. These guys wanted 20 dollars a person to take us to hard rock cafe - one way. Thankfully I had read that you just need to take one of the blue and white VW's so we did..5 dollars for both of us and he waited for us. Then he took us to the various places we wanted to see, took pictures of us, and dropped us off in plenty of time to enjoy the ship without anyone on it. Cost: he only wanted 5 dollars more. I gave him 30 total for a great ride and old memories of being in a bug.

The fort is right across the street and can easily be walked to. There was a police officer at the street to stop traffic to cross. Also, the bridge is to the left and a short walk.

Acapulco Information

Allow me to introdcue myself, I am the operations manager for the Acpaulco Port Authority.
