I will never ever cruise carnival again!!!!! The Sensation was so ghetto the service was the worst in the world. We had a fight next door to our room,my family had to wait in the hall for 20mins for someone to break up the fight. Then I was so told my my two year old could not use the pool or the hot tub because she had a litttle swimmer on. PLease keep in mind it was our, third cruise my little girls 2nd on Carnival(no one ever said anything to us on the other cruise). To have to take my little girl out the pool, after we had already payed full price for her,just because she had a little swimmer on with a swim suite was not fair. I would be here all night talking about the ghetto SENSATION and CARNIVAL!!!!!

Empress deck...below the dining room?

We are mid ship on the empress deck....I just realized the deck above us is the dining rooms. Will we hear noise from early morning diners above us?? We didn't hear ANYTHING at ALL last time...but we were down on the Main.

OK...I know the cruise is still months...and months away but...

I know there are a lot of you out there because of the "room shuffle" I had to go through to reserve eight (8) cabins. We are doing a "family and friends" cruise just to get away and have some fun. We are all on the Empress deck...spread out as much as possible to annoy as many people as we can...just kidding. I actually had to get one of those new balcony rooms in order to be close to our minor children. I don't usually do the balcony thing on a carribean cruise as we are rarely in our rooms. In my opinion, it is a must for the Alaskan cruise....but I digress.

This will be my first trip to Nassau and Freeport. Does anyone have any suggestions on excursions? We are looking at the scuba trip but didn't know how it would compare to the crystal clear waters of Cozumel. My 12-year-old wants to swim with the dolphins but I'm not sure if it is worth the money. We are open to just about everything with the exception of the "Yellow Party Boat". Not quite appropriate for a family vacation.

OK...we have six months to get to know some more folks. See you on the ship.

We are getting married in Cocoa Beach before the cruise in January. We have 48 people joining us on this cruise. It stops in Nassau. Any suggestions for excursions with this amount of people? It includes 3 younger children and a 7mos old.

It looks lik Wyndham is pretty nice from photos?

had a great time ,,,just me & dh,,,,,,was our first cruise and was worried about getting seasick.......no prob......wore bio-bands & took ginger pills. the ship was very clean.....our room steward took care of all our needs. the food was great......getting on & off the ship went smoothly. we are now hooked & already planning next cruise prob about same time next yr. this message board helped me a lot before the cruise.....if anyone has any questions i would be glad to try and answer them. we were on the nov. 8th cruise!!!!

My wife, 8 month old daughter and I are going. Dont worry about the baby she is well behaved. And we have read all the rules. There seem to be a few horror stories about little children on here.

Were celebrating my wife's birthday onboard.

I have cruised several times in the past, but this will be their very first time.

Just wanted to see who else is going just to say " Hi "

And any tips from other cruisers who have travelled with small children in the past?
