Cozumel-Tours, Any Opinions?

Hey! I'm going on my first cruise to Cozumel and Calica on the Holiday May 5, 2008. There is a company called Cozumel-Tours, http://www.cozumel-tours.com/, I was thinking about booking an excursion through them. I was wondering if anyone had tried them before and what was their experience like? Just want anyones opinion before I booked it. Thanks for your help!

Do not take your kids to see the shows at night. There was no warning, they let us in with our 11 yr old son and it was not much more than a strip show. A woman came out wearing a black bra, booty shorts and a denim jacket. And that wasn't all. There should have been some type of warning.

Anyone want to share a shuttle and the $100 cost each way from Pensacola to Mobile and back for this cruise

We are sailing on the Holiday's last voyage on 11-2-09. We plan on taking a paid shuttle from Pensacola to Mobile at around 11:00 AM on November 2. The total cost is $100 each way for two passengers or for six. We might also rent a minivan and drive to Mobile.The total cost for the minivan and parking would be about $300 round-trip from Pensacola to Mobile and back. If anyone is interested in sharing a ride and the cost of the paid shuttle or a minivan, please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

What is the latest on parking at the city owned garage, they are always changing policies. How much is it now? Are they once again accepting credit cards? Has anyone parked at the garage across from the Holiday Inn lately? How much did they charge? Thanks for any up-to-date info.

Has anyone heard if they are going to stop the cruises going to Mexico since Obama has issued a state of emergency for the US due to the swine flu outbreak??? Our first cruise was out of New Orleans this year going to Cozumel and Progresso. When we returned cruising to Mexico was halted due to the outbreak. We heard that the cruise lines were going to the Keys instead. How do you find out what the policy is and what the plan will be? We scheduled for the Holiday the 29th-1st of October. I am excited to be on the Holiday before it retires but really want to go back to Cozumel.

Holiday Shot Glass

Hey everyone, we just returned from a 5 day on the Holiday, and my wife collects shot glasses from all of our trips, and the Holiday didn't have any. I realize this is probably because of the fact that she's being taken out of service and their inventory is gone, the stores actually didn't have a whole lot of anything left. If anyone know's where we can find one, or has one that they bought and are willing to sell please let me know. My wife was very disappointed that she couldn't get one.

9/12 Holiday cruise

We were on the Holiday for the five day cruise and had a wonderful time. Did not see any brown water or have any bad odors. We were in M162 and had a great view of the waters. I did notice some engine noise while coming into ports but my wife slept right through it. The Holiday did rock and roll a little the first full day at sea. Thanks for all the advice we received from this site. The shoe holder hanging in the bathroom was really handy. Also, thanks to jetskier for letting us know not to worry about getting back to the ship on time. We took a cab to Nachi-Cocom beach and loved our 4 hours we spent there. They called us a cab and were back in time to do some shopping before getting on the ship. We went to the Seven Seas dinning room every night and had great service (Gabor was our server) and the food was great. Went to the shows every night and enjoyed everyone of them. Some were corny but enjoyed then anyway. I had a chance to have an hour conversation with Dean Gaines ( the comedian that was very funny for both the PG and R rated shows) on the Lido deck. Enjoyed talking with him about a wide range of topics. We waited to disembark until the very end and only had to wait about 15 minutes to get to our car.

Thanks aging to everyone who helped us have a great cruise.

Should we take extra bottled water on our Holiday Cruise?

Do any of those folks who have sailed on the Holiday recently experienced any problems with the water in the dining room being cloudy? We're taking bottled water for brushing our teeth and drinking in our cabin which we do on all of our cruises. However, we are hoping that the water in the dining room will be OK. We have heard several negative comments recently about the water on the Holiday. We're not going to let this ruin our cruise, but we just need to know how much water to take along. Thanks

TV's on the Holiday

I know this may seem like a silly question, but my wife and I enjoy relaxing and watching a movie in the evenings sometimes in our state room, we always bring along a laptop and several DVD's we haven't watched yet just for this purpose. When we sailed on the Fantasy in Febuary I noticed the TV's in the state rooms were flat screen viewsonic tv/monitors that you could hook a laptop to with a vga cable. Can anyone whose been on the Holiday lately let me know if the TV's on there are the flatscreen models or still the old CRT models,
