Any recent capers of the Victory?

I was just wondering if anybody who's gone recently on the Carnival Victory has any copies of the carnival capers that they could send me or post here. I'm having a nervous breakdown waiting for my cruise date to come and that might make me a little more CALM!

Anyone cruising with us over Christmas on the Victory? What should we expect Christmas Eve & Christmas Day? Also, any suggestions for my husband, whom refused to go on a family cruise last year (my parents' 50th anniversary) and is pretty much refusing to go with us this time - even though his ticket is bought & paid for! He thinks he will feel like a sardine. I have been on a number of cruises and never felt crowded, but, of course, he won't listen to me! We'll be traveling with my folks and our sons, 13 & 18. Thanks!

We had Saturday night all planed out to book our excursions for the week of January 24th we couldn't book any.We would pick the excursion and click on (book this excrusion) and it would take us to another screen and we would click on the port we were trying to book the excursion and in this screen the excursions wasn't there anymore that is the way it was on all five we were trying to book?????

Just booked 2 cabins, my Hubby (a very young 61) myself (57) in one & the other will be our neice (32) & her hubby (35). It should be our 8th cruise, going for Platinum. I think it is their 1st, at least together. Both couples have been married for 6 years, we were married a few months apart.

It has supprised me how early & fast the cabins are going. We have an ocean view & I know there is not as many of them, but it was around $300 less. With the way it is going, don't think we will see the upgrade fairey.

If more people are already book on this please jump in & we will start an early roll call.

My wife and I are going on this cruise. She has already gone on a cruise with Holland America in 1990. That was her first and last time before this cruise that is comming up.

Cant wait. I need a countdown clock.

My hubby and I are starting to decide what excursions to do on our cruise in April. All he cares about is snorkeling, scuba diving and parasailing. Anyone go on an excursion that involved any of these that they would recommend we do? Neither of us have done any of these things before so we want to make sure to get them in!

Hi everyone, I will be taking my 4th cruise on theCarnival. I travel all on different ships this time is Victory... I love it. The only small problem this time is....I will be traveling with my 8 month old baby. Dominica Emerald Pools Excursion

I am having a really hard time deciding what to do in Dominica. We all know that we want to go to Emerald Pool, but the cost of te tour is $82 but the price to get into Emerald Pool is only $6!!!! Anyone tried anything not Carnival before and did it turn out well????

Does anyone have a recent review of the ship? How it's looking these days. I've been on two newer carnival ships and loved them, both sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale. I am beginning to get nervous about all the negative comments about the ship, but getting really nervous about the reviews on the people on the cruise. Are the people who get the discounts really that bad. I love kids, but not when they are running around with no supervision doing whatever they want. A small thing here and there doesn't bother me, but when people are rude all day every day it grates on me. I really want to enjoy this trip (as it is my honeymoon). It seems like all the ports will keep us off the ship a lot anyway. Anyone have any input on shore excursions in the Southern Caribbean? Thanks!

Help with selection of Balcony Cabin please

We are considering a cabin on the 11th deck - the spa deck. there are only a few cabins up there. Does anyone have any recommendations/experiences to share about this deck. I have not cruised for 5 years or so and am trying to relearn all the nuances on cabin and excursion selection. Thank you for any help.
