Any-one else fortunate enough to be booked on this cruise. We are doing Alaska the week before on a different cruise line as we could not do a B2B on the Spirit it violated the Jone's Act. So Alaska on the Spirit was cancelled and rebooked else where. Bummer but the law is the law. We just have to spend two day's in Vancouver betqween cruises. I think I can handle that. We are from Australia so we are really looking forward to it.

Refrigerators on Spirit

We fully intend on bringing on board as much wine, water, and soft drinks as we can (there are 6 of us). Is there a refrigerator in the rooms? It sure would be nice to keep some of these items cold.

Category 4K question

We are thinking of booking the Hawaii to Ensenada trip, and had a question about the 4K interior cabins. We did an interior cabin with portholes on the Paradise and were fine with the limited view. I noticed on the Spirit that the Category 4K cabins have french doors & obstructed views. I see by the deck plan that the lifeboats are the obstructions, but with french doors does that mean there's a little balcony? If someone here has been in one of these cabins and can explain, I would be very grateful. Thank you!!!!

We are going to be on the Spirit in January. I think we would like to go to the supper club the last night of the cruise. That may be a busy night. My question is how soon can you make reservations for the club? Can that be done ahead of boarding or only after you board the ship?

Fare Reductions

I have been reading about fare reductions. My question is does the fare have to get less than what you are already paying? or, is it based on the standard fare before discounts? We got a great rate and it would seem unlikely that the fares would ever drop below what we are actually paying, unless, it starts at the standard rate before discounts. Any help explaining this would be appreciated.

I have seen roll calls on most of the other sailings, but none on this one. Anyone out there that is going aboard the Spirit on 1/6/2010?

My wife and I have talked to friends and family and we now have 17 cabins booked. It should be a great cruise.

The wife and I will be celebrating our 31st Anniversary on the Spirit on its 11 Nov 09 cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Any other folks booked so far? We will be in Cabin #7298 on the Verandah Deck (aft wrap around cabin).

Hope to hear from any/all prospective cruise mates, who might want to celebrate our anniversary with us.
