Miracle Rick and Phil at Sam's Cafe

When you're on board the Miracle be sure to stop by and say hello to Rick, the piano bar player in Sam's Cafe, and Phil, the tip jar.

Rick and Phil are an excellent team. Rick provides hours of sing alongs, piano playing and comedy. Phil keeps Rick on track and passes along requests.

Rick and Phil usually start at 9:30, and can be also requested for private functions.

(You can't tip the piano bar players with the sail and sign card, so be sure to bring Phil a tasty snack when you stop by. )

Anyone else traveling with family on the 12/14/09 Miracle cruise. We are a group of extended family members 16 in all from Nevada, Utah and Idaho traveling with 9 teens and pre-teens ranging in age from 11-18. Very excited about the 8 day cruise. This will be our Christmas! For 5 of the kids it will be their first cruise. For the other 4 kids it will be their 5th cruise.

I love this itinerary - never been to Aruba, Curacao, Dominican Republic. We've been to Grand Turk a couple of times and it's a great little port.

My DH and I are retired and lived in Northern Kentucky. This will be our 12th cruise on Carnival and 16th overall.

Hello fellow cruisers. Well, seems no one is on this cruise. We have a roll call on Cruise Critic also, and no one on that either.

We are a family of 3. Me, my husband, and my 17 yr old daughter. We reside in Florida, and this is my husband and I, 7th cruise, and my daughters 6th cruise.

Supper Club and Formal Nights

We are sailing on an 8 day cruise January 31, 2010. I would like to know if there will be more than 2 formal nights?

I would also like some feedback on the supper club. We sailed on the Splendor and ate one night at the supper club; it was a worthwhile experience. The food was great, service was great and also a good value.

I am also wondering about Fort lauderdale for airport connections to the cruiseship and nearby hotels/motels.

advice in belize

Hi Everyone!

My cruise is in 50 days, Yahoo!

I booked all my shore tours except Belize. I was hoping more would open up because we would really enjoy going to a beach or a swim with the dolphin type tour. We considered snorkeling but my husband would like to do it from the beach. Goff's Caye offers that but it sounds small, the size of a football field. We also have been looking at the Bacab Eco Park biking or horseback riding. So.... any advice on Belize tours? Has anyone been to one they recommend? Or any of the ones I mentioned above?

I just got an email from Carnival. Since I just returned from the Miracle on Oct. 7 I don't know if I'm ready to book another cruise just yet. I'm still sorting out the bills...lol It sure looks tempting though. Especially the Miracle from Ft. Lauderdale to three ports that I haven't yet been to: Panama, Costa Rica, and Belize. Is anyone considering this one? It leaves in late December of this year and we only have 2 days left to decide. Do you think the prices will stay close to this amount for the same trip later in the season...say around April of 2010?

We are booked on the Miracle January 23, 2010. Looking for other cruisers going on this trip. Also any cruisers who went on this ship and with the same itinarary.(St. Maarten, St. lucia. Sy. Kitts) We are looking for good shore excursions that include beach and snorkeling.
