We cruised on Triumph March09 and we had a suite and Vip check in but my sister,brother-in-law and other couple did not have VIP.We were put in the regular line but the gal who checked us in saw that we were traveling together and let us all go on VIP. It was great. Just explain that you need extra help with your husband and maybe they will be nice to you and let you all go through VIP. When you get off the ship you go VIP then too and it is really nice. Have fun.

My daughter and I are now VIP. We are cruising on July 26th out of Long Beach on the Splendor. What do we get now that we are VIP's? Also can anyone tell me about the Splendor??

I don't know if you are getting e-docs or they are being mailed to you. VIP will print out on your luggage tags. You know you can get help from the special need dept. if you need it. What I would do is go directly to the VIP line with your friends and see what happens. The worst thing that could happen is they send your friends to the other line. If they do, ask for help with your husband.

Thanks for the reply Joan... The other couple have their own room next to ours... Do you still think they can get through VIP with me... My husb. has some medical issues and a little extra help with him and me would sure help

Will I get something to take along that states we are VIP or just go to the VIP area. I guess I could print off my past guest profile with the cruises listed

We were told anyone in your cabin can go with you through VIP check-in. Our daughter reached VIP status one cruise before us so we got in the regular line. The person at the VIP check-in in Galveston told he rif we had gotten in line with them, we could have gone through. But once we were in the other line, he couldn't tell her to pull us out. That's what happens when you try to do the right thing. We have been VIPs for several cruises now and it is wonderful plus all the other perks that go along with it. Don't forget you have free laundry service. Ask you cabin steward for laundry bags, we sent one in every evening and got it back the next evening. I only had 1/2 load of laundry once we got home as compared to the usual 3-4 big loads. Enjoy your new status.

Help with VIP Check-In

Cruisin on Nov. 28 on Liberty... This make #10 for us... So excited about the VIP check-in.... My question is can the other party traveling with us go through VIP check-in with us although it is #8 for them... I need assistance helping with my husb. and luggage... Do you think they will let them go through with us???

Would appreciate anyone elses experience with this.
