we are also from Chesapeake, Va sailing on the Legend on 8/30/09. Except we are leaving our kids at home this vacation to celebrate our 10th Anniversary

Hello all. We will be cruising on the 30th with everyone. This is our first cruise. It will be my husband and three smaller kids. My husband just got back last week from a year in Iraq, so we are wanting to relax and see the sites. We are from the Chesapeake, VA area. Well I grew up in Pensacola, but we have been living here in Chesapeake for about 6 years.

We are on the Legend 8/30 also, went to Belize a couple years ago on 'entire family' cruise all 22 of us. Booked our own excursion to snorkel coral reef and swim with the 'friendly' sharks !!! It was a great experience. Gotta take a water taxi to one of the Cayes or swim adventure.

Yep 4 of us in a room... but its nice and spacious plus were only in the room to shower and sleep. And the balcony give us a little extra space to spread out.

I will be joining you all, my friend backed out so I am a widow (50+) on this cruise. Will be my first one since lossing my husband...but am ready to travel again! See you all there!

So excited since it's only 10 more work days before this vacation! I'm excited for more monkeyhead drinks and drinks in those fluorescent pink chalices.

We've decided to do the dolphin swim and stingray city at the GC and altun ha in Belize. We'll probably wander the rest of the other ports of call.

Can't wait to meet all you guys!

I am from Bradenton FL, just about 40 miles south of the departure port in Tampa. I will be going on this cruise with a bunch of my family members, but we are leaving the kids at home. I am the youngest of the group, 26, whereas the rest of my crew are 50+. Needless to say, I am hoping to meet some other fun people maybe close to my age that are a bit more party oriented to hang out with, maybe even someone cool to do a stingray and/or dolphin excurstion with.

I am really excited for this trip! Its coming up quick!

You can totally hang out with us if you want, the 4 of us range from age 23-26 yrs old. Four girls in one room, lol should be an interesting trip but we are excited!

The 4 of us girls are all from central florida/Orlando area, about 15 minutes from Disney and all the touristy areas. This will be my 2nd time on the Legend, but my 10th cruise! The other girls coming with me will be all of their 2nd cruise.

We are so excited, counting down the days and hours!! Some of us may be a little too excited and started packing a few things here and there in the suit cases already... lol Can you tell we need a vacation! 3 out of the 4 of us are hair stylists, and its back to school time... which mean TONS of screaming kids not wanting their haircut for the next 2 weeks... so by the time the 30th rolls around we will be leaving our scissors behind, running from our salons and SO in need of this vacation! :-)

Any other groups of friends going?
