What is there to do here? We are not interested in Atlantis or Disney and the price of Kennedy Space Center is outrageous at $140pp. Any ideas?

Hello. We will be stopping at Cape Canaveral, FL on our cruise. It is just my husband and I. We want to go to one of the Walt Disney World Parks, but do not know which one...Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios. The cruise is in January, so no water park weather I'm sure! We are in our young 20's and both have not been to Disney World. Which one would be best for us? Recommend/not recommend....Thanks

Mall/shopping area near Port Canaveral?

Hi - -Is there a mall or shopping area near the port? I'm not really wanting to pay for Carnival's excursions in a state I've been too many times.... Is it an area like Key West with shopping/restaurants all around?

What to do at Port Canaveral, FL

Hi,

I am taking Pride ship July 3 and it will stop for whole day on July 06 7-7 PM. Is there any thing best to do without going through Ship's excursions? I have traveled in the past to different destination through Carnival and I found out that it is very economical to do our own out of the ship then booking through the ship.

I have been to Orlando area and do not want to go there again.

Cocoa Beach in Port Canaveral, FL

I will be cruising on the Pride on 9/13/09. Does anyone know what the difference is between the Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Shuttle shore tour and Fun & Sun Day at the Beach shore tour other than the price? Looking for something fun to do in Port Canaveral. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am going to be sailing on the Pride 5/3/09, and our first stop is in Port Canaveral, we are taking an excursioin over to Magic Kingdom. We have decided to purchase the tickets directly from Magic Kingdom rather then paying 150.00 pp through Carnival. I am a little concerned about the transportation, I would imagine that there are shuttles and cabs waiting around for the cruise ships to port.

Any feed back is welcomed.
