Located above the graphic toward the right is a small box "Check Specials" - check this box and check the box for "Past Guest" in the dropdown menu. Continue to Search for the cruise you booked - when it comes up, you should see "Past Guest" rates line below the other two rates lines SUPER SAVER and LET CARNIVAL CHOOSE. If no Past Guest rates are shown then there aren't any being offered for that cruise (yet) -

It would be unusual to see any promo rates for a cruise out as far as 2010 yet. The Past guest discount (and 55+ and residene and military rates) aren't offered all the time for all cruises - they're offered when sales are lagging to encourage booking. They may come and go. I wouldn't expect Past Guest rates til maybe 9 or 10 months from sailing. When you find a good rate you can ask your TA to switch you over to it - some TA's will do this others won't or will charge you. ken

Re: Past Guest Discount Question

not all cruises offer the past guest discount. so you just have to keep checking the prices and see if or when a past guest discount is offered so you can call and see if applies to your cabin and would save you money. (prices for cruises go up and down all the time.) a lot of the time... the past guest offer is an upgrade in the cabin...

Past Guest Discount Question

Hi - I'm booked for my second Carnival cruise on the Dream in April 2010. I am reading over on the 'Dream' section that the past guest and mililtary discounts haven't been given yet. Does anyone know for a fact that we aren't getting the past guest discounts when we have already booked through a travel agent in July? I'm not sure where to look for this answer so I'm hoping Carnival staff (Stephanie?) will see this and respond. This isn't for military discounts - only past guest discounts. Thanks.
