    Balcony Room Size question??

We are booked on the Triumph Nov 21 and we was wondering about the size of the cabin. We are in cabin 8324 it is a 8D balcony cabin. We will have a 9 yr old boy with us and were worried about his sleeping arrangements.

I just learned that the sofa in our room is not a convertable one and that we may have to put a rollaway bed in the room for him. (Depending on how big the sofa is) however we are worried about how much room we will have in the cabin with that rollaway in there.

Does anyone know or know where i can find the dimentions for the room? they tell me it is 185 sq feet room but i dont know if they include the balcony, bathroom, and closets in the 185 sq ft. The first cruise we went on was an inside cabin and we already know how cramped it was in that one.

    Vickie,

The sofa would be fine for a 9 yr old. Unfortunately that cabin is not a Triple occupany cabin, so I would confirm that your reservation have the 3rd passenger listed on the cruise documents. Carnival should have moved you to a triple cabin.

    Vickie,

I think you'll be OK, my son slept on the couch in our balcony cabins and never had problems. All category 8 cabins are the same size, only some have extended balconies. The sofas are the same size, so they are fine to sleep on. I slept on one 2 years ago without problems and I am 5'10".

    Re: Balcony Room Size question??

Your particular stateroom 8324, is listed in size as 200sq. ft. total size

    Room 185 sq.ft.

    Balcony 35sq.ft.

A rollaway would probably take up 15sq. ft. of that 185

I'd just go with the sofa.

    Have a great cruise
