Hi;
I am booked on Senstation for Dec. 6 and have been since March. After reading different posts on different websites I am wondering what the difference is between the category 4A which I have and category 1A or PT. I figure price is involved but anything else? Happy Sailing
4a is higher up and a little more expensive and might have windows. i just got back from a cruise today and stayed in the bottom floor and it was great. Y
the 1A usually have just bunk beds.and is usually what single cruisers try to book because you get a better rate for it. the PT have port hole windows...
Are the PT more expensive than the 4A cabins? Someday I might be able to answer these questions for someone else. Thank you for replying Happy Sailing
On the Dream I know that the PT is the same price as the 4A
VA_Cruiser, Hi....just wanted to let you guys know that I booked cabin#2216 on the Dream, category 1A which has the 2 porthole windows. Paid the same price as if it were an indoor cabin with no windows. Myself and DD are going on this cruise.

Hubby and I usually book 1A cabin because of the price. These cabins have bunk beds. Sleep 2 one on the top bunk and one on the bottom bunk. If you are watching your $$$$$$ this cabin is a real bargin since you really only spend minimal time in the cabin anyway. Happy sailing. We are off in 32 days! Can't wait!!! Fantasy here we come!!!!
Watch the pricing, Don't assume that a 1A is always cheaper then a Cat 4 cabin. Lots of times I see Cat 4B cheaper then a Cat 4A. If you book a Cat 4 there is a chance of getting an upgrade to a higher letter. Just do the math and the research. Look where the Cat1's are in comparison to the 4's and remember there are very very few Cat 1's on a ship so can be extremely hard to come by.
*Price is per person, double occupancy. Cruise prices are updated four times a day and subject to change without notice.
